  1. If we continue to keep cat footing about with our passing from defence, and losing possession as a result, then the stats column will continue to look reasonably decent except for the goals against column, and our League position.
  2. I have about 1500 Wednesday programmes, all from matches that I have personally attended. I regard them as a personal connection between me and the club's history. Can't get to the games now for health reasons but bought the Liam Palmer one.
  3. If that is indicative of RUFC leadership's grasp of the English language, then it's little wonder that they languish where they are
  4. Has this fixture been announced on the Wednesday official site?
  5. Two of my most outstanding favourites during my sixty four years of supporting Wednesday. Belated thanks to both of you. (always biased towards Alan, we were both born in the same village).
  6. That is very sad. What is even more sad is the chilling thought that it might happen here.
  7. In 31 pages I can't see any comment regarding the the fact that our second goal came from a corner that past OVER the first defenders head !! Can only imagine that the silence is in respect to our absent skipper.
  8. No danger of that happening to her is there ?
  9. Big Ron was there today. I can't imagine what he was thinking.
  10. If Liam Palmer isn't a better defender than half of that lot, then my dicks a kipper!!
  11. After all the pros and cons had been considered the ref sent him off because he was pressurised by ten thousand Bristol players shoved into his face.
  12. We've been screwed for some time.
  13. I'm surprised that the work permit should be causing the delay, if it is. Surely he could come over for a few days holiday and settle-in with the system. He could start work officially when the work permit arrived. (before some clever bugger asks what happens if he doesn't get the permit, then in that case there would be no further embarrassment with sacking a short term Manager). - a win win set up!!
