  1. We all know that nobody has ever been able to "work with" Chansiri. Look at how many resignations there have been, since he set up the original "management committee". So the chances of the regulator beinmg able to work with him are very slim indeed. Once he starts his rants, or his " what's it got to do with you", the regulator will be able to begin the steps to make him sell the club.
  2. What a crying shame. Can't blame the guy for looking after his family. Best wishes to him and I hope he finds another post very soon.
  3. I'm sure that song ended "and Eustace is better than Rattin" rather than the line about the pigs being in for a thrashin'. Maybe there were 2 versions sung.
  4. He was Wednesday's keeper when I first went to Hillsborough in 1965 and he's still the best we've had. RIP Ron
  5. Another fair and accurate assessment Jim and a nice tribute to Milan Mandaric. (RIP).
  6. From the sound of the commentary, this could be a real battering.
  7. A black screen is awful to look at!
  8. Handball by Cadamarteri according to BBC. Was it ??
  9. I agree with most of what Bassett says in that article. The Premier league games are boring with far too much gamesmanship. Referees could change it by getting to grips with the holding in the box at free kicks and corners and stopping time wasting, but they're too scared of upsetting the observers in the stands who grade their performance. The beautiful game is sadly beautiful no longer at Premier league level.
  10. My wife says I have two faults. I don't remember things and ........ something else.
  11. I played for a team in the East Lincolnshire league ( Burgh-le-Marsh) and we played in the Wednesday kit. I loved to play in the number 9 shirt. This was in the late 70s /early 80s.
