Let's all promise that once Chansiri has gone, we'll all have memberships and contribute to the foundation.

The focus should be on the local based official sponsors. Thornbridge Brewery should be the inital focus. We could put a little pressure on them to withdraw and not commit for next season. I imagine the majority of their business is in Sheffield so the last thing they want is to have a boycott on there hands. Maybe something that the Supporter Trust could start. Make the environment toxic for any sponsorship. Chansiri knowing that next season will also see a dramatic drop in sponsorship is just another nail in the coffin. We need to impact every revenue stream.

Just look at what Liverpool have done and Leeds are planning on doing. Plus there is absolutely no need for Wednesday to have 50k seats. I'd be happy if we could get back up to the 40k we used to have. We would have to be an established Prem team for that need.

Liverpool have Reds which is a sports bar in the centre of Liverpool, they don't seen to have any problems. You could also put it in Kelham or closer to the north of the city centre but somewhere with good transport links in important. Sheffield Steelers also have the Steelers bar, thought this is out of town but nowhere near the Arena. They do really well with that place and do numerous events there. We could actually take some huge tips off the Steelers, they have average attendances of around 7k and probably 15k active fans yet they wipe the floor with us from a commercial point of view.

Because town has far more potential customers and the easiest place for everyone to get to. Its about making the most money. We should also vastly improve the offering at Hillsborough too. Most clubs have multiple different offerings at different price points. I would advise people watch https://www.youtube.com/@thepaddedseat He goes around reviewing hospitality. Its pretty obviously the likes of the top Prem teams are going to have a better offering than us, but then you see L1 and L2 teams with better and even some non-league teams also. If teams that average 10% of our support can make these things pay (and I guarantee that they wouldn't be doing this if it didn't pay back) then we surely can. We are light years behind in every aspect of the club!

This is something that Wednesday is missing out on and vital for PSR - Additinal non-matchday revenue. I think someting like this could work really well for Wednesday, somewhere in town, lots of Ales, showing every football game all week. You could host lots of events that would cost little but would make money. The players night that that old player put on at the city hall, whats his name, Leighton Palmer??? That was a sell out, ticket sale and beer sales will have made a killing. That could be hosted in this. Podcast guys doing a live event, Radio Sheff guys, allsort. It just requires the smallest amount of business acumen, which has been lacking at Hillsborough for quite a few years. You have a large untapped audience that is willing to pay money for stuff to do with the club, don't rip them off by only upping the ticket a shirt prices. Creating extra revenue allows those things to not have to be increased so much. The next owner really does have such a low bar to hit that anyone could be more successful than Chansiri. I would rather have an owner put money into initiatives like this and make us more sustainable as a club.

Also think it has planning for houses

I think the only advantage of moving would be if we can get somewhere closer to town, there are little opportunities for that without significant costs of CPO's and the inevitable infrastructure costs. When you build a new stadium the council will say, how are you going to deal with 25k people getting in and out 23 times a year. Quite rightly they aren't going to stump up the cash for roadworks, public transport changes etc that would have to come from the club. Look at the complaints from residents at Meadowhead for the Sheffield FC stadium and thats a few hundred folk. Redeveloping Hillsborough would have non of these issues. Plus if we sort out the North first, we wouldn't lose revenue due to the loss of a stand while its being redeveloped due to having a much bigger capacity than is currently needed.

Wednesday don't ned to leave Hillsborough, most teams only leave their historic home due to lack of ability to develop, Hillsborough is a big enough site, with an ability to make bigger - Look at what Liverpool did over the last 20 years buying up rows of terraced houses. A new owner wouldn't need to do much to make it better. The North stand, I'd take advantage of the closure to repair all the steel work and weather proof and replace the roof with ETFE which is lightweight and transparent - similar to Newcastle's St James Park. Refresh the seating, burn the Chansiri seats. Then once this is back in actions replace both the Kop and the West. Both are poo , not up to modern standards (...for 1990) and little can be done to improve. These would be replaced one at a time. Rather than go down the old bowl design, Wednesday should embrace the 4 sided, traditional English Football stadium. 4 Modern but traditional looking sides to the ground. Similar to what Baseball has done embracing its tradition and past with some of the famous stadiums like Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field.

I’ve met David Richards a few times and had lunch with him once. He’s a very bright guy and very down to earth even after being one of a very few people to make it in silicon valley as a uk company. I wouldn’t be too worried about the problems at Wandisco, he pretty much did the honourable thing and resigned even though it wasn’t his fault. He’s a very proud Sheffielder and a massive Wednesdayite. Would actually have one of us as Chairman would be huge for us (as long as it’s a new owner also!)

Maybe @Owlstalk Admin Team could pin a topic that picks a certain sponsor, we all make a concerted effort to bombard their email and socials with polite requests for them to rescind their sponsorship and stop supporting this dictatorship? We need some leadership on this one and maybe Owlstalk can be that?

oakowl started following Boycott of Sponsors

As an additional pressure on Chansiri we should look to apply pressure on the official sponsors to stop. funding him. Like John West, they will not want the bad publicity. I know these are local companies, and I don't personally want to effect their trade but this is needs must. Then removing their sponsorship will have little effect and we'll all appreciate their efforts. Official sponsors are: Mr Vagas Mockba Heb group MKM Veezu Molson Coors We buy any car One2call Just Eat Access Credit Management Thornbridge Brewary Marshall Artist ANsys OL Pro DECX Sedulo Alpha Recruitment NutritionX Carmats.co.uk If we bombard their social media like we did TUF and John West, this will put pressure on them to do something, if not removing their sponsorship at least contacting the club telling them they are getting poo for all this.

Walton group, 99.5% done, confirmed this week ovo Source - Chansiri popped round for a cuppa and told me. Please don't listen to anything made up like this... I think it's some kind of attention seeking. Only think i'll listen to is our local reporters, not even litening to bizzle anymore
