No idea on that one. Bannan mentioned on talksport that he’d not spoken to DC in 6 weeks so it makes you wonder how his contract was eventually sorted as well. AP might be more involved but I’m only speculating.

I think the potential takeover is being used as part of a sales pitch to clubs/players/agents. We are a good option for young prem loans though- they are pretty much guaranteed game time and parent club usually pays the majority/100% of wages in these cases. Collyer has multiple champ offers on the table. The irony is we should have been signing these types of players for years, yet we are only doing it now because our options are so limited.

I agree but I think we’d be pleasantly surprised at the quality of players who would still happily sign for us. Keep your eyes peeled for one of Man U’s top young prospects.
