  1. The old who better argument, im not been an arse it just annoys me when people say that.
  2. True, but wpuld you take that risk with your millions with H.P's track record. I certainly wouldnt.
  3. Today reminded me of Lee Bullens last game when it was clear he was struggling. What also concerned me today was been 0- 3 at home with a few mins left and we still didn't have men back with absolute gaping holes in our defence, the game had gone it was about pride was absolutely no benefit playing open, get players behind the ball and save a bit of pride it could have been 0-6. Just showed complete lack of awareness or ability to adapt.
  4. Id be extremely surprised if Pederson is the manager next season, hopefully he can stay at the club in some capacity. Unfortunately I think he's a little out of his depth at this level, today's game very much reminded me of Bullens last game in charge when it was clear to most it wouldnt work out. The task this season was mission almost impossible and Pederson agreed to step up in very difficult circumstances , this of course also massively reduces pressure and expectations which is why fans haven't been calling for him to be replaced, we understand. However with the obvious mitigation is he still underachieving and if so does it really matter. I dont think it does matter now hes just keeping us ticking along until the new owners appointed a new manager to take us forward, looking at available evidence Pederson isnt that man, managers with a good record often get replaced with new owners Pederson hasn't achieved any managerial success to the point he accepted a job as a number 2, hes not manager to take us forward.
  5. Give it time and you'll catch up.
  6. I thinking faking injury is harsh, he did take a knock but agree with everything else hes shocking.
  7. Absolutely shocking, nice man, trying g circumstances but out of his depth as his record suggests.
  8. They would do better, he'll be gone soon anyway.
  9. Why on earth in the last few mins at 0 - 3 down in a match where local pride is everything are getting caught out at the back time and again, absolutely useless from Pederson that should not happen.
  10. Ive been saying it since day 1 Pederson isnt a manager for this level, nice man and difficult circumstances of course but his record isn't very good and his spell with us has done nothing to change that.
  11. Might be wrong but I dont think thats recently and you have to consider the viability at the point if acquisition.
  12. Cant see other clubs with traditional stadiums and sufficient resources developing stadiums, perhaps Liverpool as an exception. The trend for obvious reasons is to build a new stadium and I would expect our new owners to do the same subject to affordability.
  13. Everything's crystal ball territory until we have more information in the coming weeks and I may be completely wrong, if Pederson has a good 2nd half of the season he'll give himself a chance. However, I dont believe anything in H.P record suggests at this stage hes a solid manager and the best way to have fans on side is to have a winning team and the infrastructure in place to the develop the club. Said infrastructure, purchase of club, transfers etc is going to cost many many millions and for me, whoever owns the club will demand a manager with a track record in line with their ambitions, with respect to H.P I dont think he'll tick the boxes. No guarantees of course in football but you can only make the decisions you believe are in the best interest of the club. Either way it's just fantastic looking forward to a positive future, mistakes will be made along the way but the club will have our support.
  14. Let's not have that conversation, im sure you could find 100's of examples both to support or not on the merits of new owners bringing in a new manager.
  15. He might get the season and im not saying he doesn't deserve a crack but the new owners won't be interested in what seems fair, the best available candidate will be appointed probably with experience of getting teams promoted.
  16. Unpopular opinion i suspect but I'd be surprised if the new owners don't bring in a new manager.
  17. We need new players in every position but a decent striker will have the biggest impact.
  18. These posts dont seem to be getting anywhere near as much attention stuck in the boardroom section and find it annoying flicking between the two. Not been an arse just genuine feedback for what its worth.
  19. Likely to be yanks, thats the current direction of travel across English football and I can certainly see reasons why SWFC would be interesting from a marketing perspective. Big club, home of football, unique name.
  20. I dont think he'll be with us into a new era, his record before us was poor and id be surprised if a new owner doesn't look to replace.
  21. It was from Textors instagram account, if he didn't attend his intention was to make it appear thay way.
  22. As said by others if the Waltons are serious about getting us nothing will stand in there way.
