I totally get it mate , been supporting over 45 years , I used to attend regularly in the 90s but life and work have prevented this more lately, working in retail doesn’t give me a lot of Saturdays off, not stepped foot in the place for a year now as I won’t give him a penny . My missus is seriously ill with stage 4 cancer and I’m constantly in a foul mood because of all this poo , time to let it go and focus on her and enjoying what time we have together . fizz you DC .

The very reason I don’t watch Leeds

I’m just hoping there is a Sheffield Wednesday for me in the future, I’m 54 and supported them since being 7 , I now don’t go as I won’t fund Chansiri . I’m desperate to watch live footy and have recently considered going to watch Bradford or even Leeds with my mates , but I know I won’t feel anything as they are just not part of me. Hopefully something changes soon.

I joined in 2007 and was quite active in the early days I’m a more occasional poster now , as life just gets too busy. For me Wednesday had always been just about the footy, I didn’t know of all the behind the scenes stuff that was going on so this place was actually real eye opener as all the Dave Allen stuff was going on

I think for me they are just another team, I don’t come from Sheffield and had no blade mates so never really got into the big rivalry thing. I now work in Leeds and most of my mates and work colleagues are mad Leeds fans , I have had a bit of banter with these over the years but am genuinely happy for them when they’re doing well. I would say I have more issues with random teams live Arsenal and Huddersfield
