Sorry to hear that. I have mentioned it before in this thread. Robertson was actually saying the other day that some of the players have been in a bit of state before games

You often hear "why don't they give x manager a go?" about some lower level coach when a big job is available. But then this can happen. Frank still thinks he's the Brentford coach. They're playing for set pieces. Its a good job for them that Vicario is quietly having a good season. Chelsea could have whacked 5 past them the other week

Man utd's priority was a central midfielder and they couldn't afford one because Mbeumo ended costing more money than they thought he would. I agree with the premise though. Liverpool's business was bad. They needed to replace what they lost, but they ended up panicking. Why sign Isak after Ekitike? Frimpong and Kerkez is silly. You can't play both of them in both of those examples, so they are just paying for a good bench. Kerkez or Frimpong playong just unbalances the defence completely. They are wide open. Surprise surprise they win and keep clean sheets against Real and Villa with Bradley and Robertson at full back. Wirtz is definitely vanity as mentioned. He's a quality player, but similarly with Simons at Tottenham, they want to take too many touches. Liverpool's attack never wants slowing down. They are already slower going forward with Trebt because their outball was often the forward pass from right back over Salah

Let's Get The Scrubbers Of S2 Sold Out!

Yeah for sure... My Nan had a season ticket in the bottom of the west stand in the 90s. The back row in fact. Sometimes stuff used to fall on her from above just because the away fans would drop their drinks etc by accident. And yeah away fans were sometimes arseholes too. One year the Liverpool fans were pretty vile. But I can guarantee you she would be sat there on sunday if she was still alive. She loved that seat, as it was where her dad used to take her when she was a young un. -

Not everyone will be taking a kid. You know what i mean Yes they're idiots, but there have been measures put in place. Its pigs with x number of loyalty points, not half the Cricketers. And you can go to a gig in a field and have pee thrown at you, and it doesn't put many off. Its a bit crazy if people aren't going because they are scared of a few pigs -

Its not disappointing. Its just concerning that people don't want to take these tickets when the club is in the mire. The club couldn't do anymore to get people in. The fans are currently the only source of income, regardless of whether the team is rubbish and how many points it is adrift. There has been a huge push by many fans, a great effort, but some seem quite happy with waiting for some hypothetical billionaire to show up and bail the club out. Then they'll go when the team has won 3 Champions Leagues, its warm, there's no Bonfire night, the pigs above them throw bouquets of roses. If people aren't bothered about going now the bat sign has gone up to save the club, when will they go? Anyone can fill a stadium with tourists in the PL, the club won't need you if that happens -

Villa redeveloped a stand for £100m. I bet the Zaragoza stadium comes in at well over that. Everton was supposed to cost £500m and cost £800m -

Yeah for sure. Our record revenue is about £26m. A new stadium would cost a minimum of £250m if it was to be bigger than Hillsborough. Its a pipe dream sadly -

I would be amazed if a new owner built a new stadium in this climate. Only an idiot would part with that sort of money (plus all the rest of the moneythey would need to get us to even be competitive in the Championship). Also no public money on the table. If we end up with americans they generally don't invest that much cash and look for a quick sale. Birmingham being the exception, where they stand to earn quite a lot of money renovating a huge portion of the city. Americans always want their money back, they don't throw free money around -

Its a lot of money to invest without any chance of any public money to take the edge off. Any potential plan of midtable PL obscurity is a long term plan. We're looking for a unicorn Yeah no-one said Jordan is biying anything, I'm saying i wouldn't trust his judgement. He's paid to talk a lot on the radio, and the key is "ex-chairman" or maybe failed is the better word -

Yoy will be right. But we just need someone to build a new stadium, fund a squad capable of playing in the PL consistently, and we could get 45k through the gate. We just need a benefactor willing to give us £0,5bn to sort that out. It also makes me laugh when people mention Simon Jordan. He put the only club he ran into administration. -

They were redeveloping Whote Hart Lane in the 90s. It didn't hold 36k. It had 3 stands at one point.crowds were low in the 90s because of the Taylor report -

Tottenham are one of the biggest supported teams in the country. Their potential is huge. They've won a major trophy in every decade since the 50, apart from the 2010s (?) bit they did reach the european cup final in that decade. They have a new stadium but they also have sustained success, despite what their fans on social media may say. Maybe only Man utd, Liverpool, and Arsenal are better supported. To compare us to them is a little silly. Their stadium is also in the middle of London, with all the opportunities that brings. They could fill their stadium with tourists alone. -

Raphinha is back soon. He won't be int he team sadly I wonder if they are managing his minutes firstly -
Van Bronckhurst took that Gerrard team to a european final and they sacked him

There's no ill feeling at all. I hope he does well. He's won 3 of his 6 games, the 3 he had to win. Rangers is a crazy job. Always a couple of games from crisis. And its a long time since somewhere left there and did anything. Gerrard got the Villa job but was out of his depth in the Premier league. Its not somewhere you go to get on.
-
I am only saying maybe with Wolves. They are seriously underperforming. It wouldn't take much to turn heads. Rangers are a job for the romantic. Its a big job only in name. Its limited how far you can take them, and the off field baggage is really not worth the hassle. The Celtic job is hardly appealing, and they have resources way beyond Rangers. I've only seen Rangers once since Roehl came in, in the game v Roma. Gasperini had his trousers down. They never laid a glove. Its harsh to think he can get anything from that game, but Roma had lost away in Plzen last time out, this isn't a vintage Roma by any standards. That's the game when possibly people may take a peak at him. He tried the whole high tempo, get into them stuff, and Roma just kept the ball and silenced the crowd.
