Both clubs practically destroyed a young lads development by acting like a bunch of pre schoolers.
Not saying he would end up a 25 goal a season Premier League striker but those wasted years that us and Leicester contributed to, quite frankly prevented any potential of that happening.
Fair play to the young lad for rebuilding his career, something Danny Cowley should be praised for. The George Hirst that first played for Portsmouth looked like he never played football in his life. Thankfully for him, he turned his career round there and looked a far better player, winning over the Portsmouth fans big time. I know there's no such thing as loyalty in football but one day, I hope Hirsty goes back to Portsmouth since they saved his footballing career from being ruined by two childish clubs.
