Fair play to the young lad for rebuilding his career, something Danny Cowley should be praised for. The George Hirst that first played for Portsmouth looked like he never played football in his life. Thankfully for him, he turned his career round there and looked a far better player, winning over the Portsmouth fans big time. I know there's no such thing as loyalty in football but one day, I hope Hirsty goes back to Portsmouth since they saved his footballing career from being ruined by two childish clubs.

The European Cup being renamed The Champions League, followed by the withdrawal of the Cup Winners Cup. The top European Competition should be the winners of the respective divisions (plus the holders). There was nothing wrong with the European Cup, UEFA Cup and the Cup Winners Cup. I have no interest watching an alleged European Competition where a side finishing 5th in their respective league could end up winning a 'Champions League' tournament when they weren't even champions of their own division.
