Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough - How Many Tickets Left?
wmb replied to BIG D's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Be nice if it was a fully empty stadium but won’t happen. Already seen loads saying ‘I won’t be told what to do’. -
He’s a ******** scrounger. fizz off out of our club you shameless waster.

It’s the last roll of the dice by a gambling mad man. His last roll is holding on to the ground and hoping he can use it as leverage for any potential deal. He will sell but it will go right to the wire. If he pays the interest on the ground then where will he find the money to pay the HMRC and staff? If by a miracle he manages that how will he pay next year and the year after that. He’s a dead man walking, I’m pretty sure he knows it himself but being the pathetic gambler he is he can’t resist one last roll of the dice.

Same here. Growing up, remember hearing the speedway from my backyard in Shiregreen in the 90’s.
-
You’ve been bang on the money with this recently. If that’s the case surely he is done? He literally can’t carry on, whether he leaves today tomorrow or in 6 months time his days are numbered.

I could support a phoenix club but this club, our club is still here to save. Let’s not give up the ghost yet. There’s still plenty of fight left in us and people trying to influence change. It’s going to be a long battle but we will wrestle it from him somehow.
-
Not many clubs would get anywhere near half filling our KOP in league 1.

All due respect to Bizzle I don't think we will hear anything from him on a takeover at this time. Whoever they are they must now be worried that someone has been playing them all along on this subject. It's clear that DC is trying everything to cling on but the walls are closing in.

Trust to issue a report on DC business interests !
wmb replied to andypandy's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I wonder if this is a co-ordinated effort by the Trust, incoming IFR, local press and others to put the final nails in DC’s coffin. Thinking this from the trust plus Lisa Nandy mentioning us again in cabinet and the Star releasing articles from DR, JW and on the stadium rent. It all feels like a big push to rid us of the cretin. -
The Star - Good Chance Hillsborough Loan Won't Be Rolled Over
wmb replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Agree that it seems to be common knowledge but it doesn't read as an opinion piece, reads more to me that he has been given the nod that this is a likely outcome which I imagine will have come from a source. Either way it's a step forward for the Star to put this in writing. -
The Star - Good Chance Hillsborough Loan Won't Be Rolled Over

Another story by the Star that I imagine they have been sat on for a couple of weeks. Add to this the Röhl and Windass interviews and you've got to wonder if the wheels on a potential takeover are now turning. -
The Star - Good Chance Hillsborough Loan Won't Be Rolled Over

The noose around DC's neck is tightening. Ramp up those protests and boycotts. Starve him of any income from the club that might help him meet this payment. If he manages to agree a roll over for another year then what will he doe next year. He's a dead man walking. fizz off DC.- 153 replies

Let’s see how it plays out then. In my opinion the IFR will be looking grab him by the balls and make him a case in point for any future rogue owners.

Protest in London on September 4th
wmb replied to Wednesdayitewastaken's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
This is a good idea. Would be really good if a template could be drafted and details of where to send it are shared amongst the fanbase. Even if it's only 500 people who send the e-mail it will make them notice. -
Agree with all of this. There is no way 12k will renew. As the season goes on and winter bites people will be come more and more disillusioned and angry with the situation. I genuinely think some thought all would be OK and we would see 5/6 players through the door on Monday. It’s fast becoming clear to even those who are blind followers of the club that there is no hope of a better future or maybe even a future at all until DC is removed. The trust and other fans bodies have a huge part to play in boycotting season tickets for next season. It needs to be a full on campaign to get the message out. Posters all over the ground, outside ticket shop, in shops across the city, leaflets through doors, radio adverts anything everything to make it clear if you boy a season ticket you are killing the club.

I'd rather us play Siqueria. Honestly I thought Jack was great for us but he was on the decline when he was last with us.
-
What I can’t work out is that some of our fans seem to think this is a short term thing. It’s not, this will continue to happen whilst DC remains in charge. The only way it stops is if he is removed or we go bust. There is no middle ground.
-
This all plays in to the hands of DC and the EFL. DC can hold on and continue to asset strip. The EFL will likely be satisfied with the Charles money and potential other sales that DC can fund the club through the season which protects the ‘integrity’ of the competition. Neither DC or the EFL have the interests of SWFC at heart.
-
Nah we are too nice for that. Still be the same muppets turning up next week stuffing their faces on the concourse, buying programmes singing hi ho silver lining pretending everything is OK.
-
That's exactly what he is doing. The EFL are now enabling him by allowing him to bring in loans so we can field a 'Competitive' team. All the while that little t0sser will sell whoever and whatever he can. We are at end game as a club, people need to wake up and realise this now. He will take the Charles money, cling on until January then sell Cadz or whoever is having an half decent season and rinse and repeat until there is nothing left.
-
If he is sold then not only are we losing a brilliant talent but it will also enable the horrible pr1ck running the club to keep going. At which point we have got to ask what is the point, we might as well do all we can to get every home game abandoned.
-
EFL might have just given DC the Green light to limp on now. Expect us to bring a few young kids on loan and for Cadz, Charles, Valery and Lowe to be sold. Would rather they had just said we aren’t able to do any business at all.
-
Prediction - Valery to a club abroad. Cadamarteri to Preston. Think we keep hold of Charles until January as DC will see that as leverage for any negotiations.
