The Star is a shadow of what it used to be years ago with Paul Thompson writing on us. The click bait banner "BREAKING" on the top of the web page aims to mislead readers into clicking on stories about some "Celebrity" only to find out it's a former contestant on Kazakhstan Love Island 5 years ago. The site overall is dreadful but people don't tend to buy printed copy anymore so the click bait is the way of funding the web site. The coverage on us has got better over the past few years but a lot of the stories are rehashed rumours of what has been written on forums and the like. Not wanting to sound derogatory to the guys that write on us as it can't be an easy job without any contacts willing to talk anymore. Maybe I'm just old but The Star and The Green Un (remember that) used to be invaluable to hear the day to day news about what's going on at the club.

Why the condescending comment? If you run a business you prepare for every eventuality, Plan A would be for promotion and Plan B for another season in League 1. It's not that difficult organise seen as we were running away with the league a few weeks ago and we were nailed on for promotion for 90% of the season.

Why are we not selling and promoting season ticket sales off the back of the fabulous win on Monday? After the amazing play-off win and the bumper Wembley crowd now would be the perfect time to cash in on the feel good factor and get new fans to buy in to watching the Championship campaign for next season. I do think we may be losing out on potential new sales by not riding the wave of Wembley success and opening up season ticket sales while it’s fresh in the memory.

Absolute nonsense Big Ron's side that got relegated was a work in progress.
