The IFR in my opinion won’t do anything apart from a strongly worded statement to club owners, Kogan himself is under the microscope for donations to The Labour Party, Lisa Nandy’s and Keir Starmer’s campaigns in the past so it looks like another appointment to a toothless regulator for political donations to me. I remain to be convinced this just isn’t another tax payer funded committee, We have loads already for other sectors such as water, power and communications services all of which seem to let people under their watch get away with murder. Let’s see how it pans out as it seems like our only hope.

The Star is a shadow of what it used to be years ago with Paul Thompson writing on us. The click bait banner "BREAKING" on the top of the web page aims to mislead readers into clicking on stories about some "Celebrity" only to find out it's a former contestant on Kazakhstan Love Island 5 years ago. The site overall is dreadful but people don't tend to buy printed copy anymore so the click bait is the way of funding the web site. The coverage on us has got better over the past few years but a lot of the stories are rehashed rumours of what has been written on forums and the like. Not wanting to sound derogatory to the guys that write on us as it can't be an easy job without any contacts willing to talk anymore. Maybe I'm just old but The Star and The Green Un (remember that) used to be invaluable to hear the day to day news about what's going on at the club.
