As a unfortunate member of the gang who paid stupidly high prices several months ago I'll be going as a season ticket holder. I've already paid for the product I might as well use it.
Won't particularly look forward to going for the football but will enjoy spending time with friends and those around me who you say hello to etc etc.
Will spend money in the local businesses, but will spend ZERO in S6. I'll be turning up 5 mins before kick off, taking my seat, joining in with any flyers/turning your back/Chansiri out chanting protests and leaving at the end that's it.
I honestly don't think a huge boycott is the right thing to do. It will send a message but unfortunately the damage it would do to the completely unrelated businesses such as pubs sandwich shops burger vans and the like would be devastating to them.
Season ticket holders should go, support local businesses, join in with protests and go home. Spend nothing at the club.
I think we'll see a monumental drop in potg tickets and that is fantastic to putting the boot in on DC!!
So I'm not really in any of the specified camps, rather an apathetic attendee who's already lost his money having a social, but no money at S6, day out.
