It's probably a bit late to say this, but I think we shouldn't get so carried away with the idea of billionaire sugar daddy owners that we end up disappointed with stability and competence.

I think it's actually a really interesting situation. On the one hand, championship clubs are only one good season away from the promised land. Anyone wanting a slice of that pie could pick us up for relatively cheap, invest and see a huge return on their money quite quickly. Except we're almost certainly going to actually be a league 1 team in 9 months. And then the price isn't really that cheap, especially when you consider that significant infrastructure investments are required to make us a PL-ready team. We'd also require investment just to compete at the top of league 1, so there's got to be money in just to get us back to the level we're currently at.

I don't think anyone ITK has come out of this past few months well, so I see no reason to think their links to the Waltons or Fertitta or whoever else were good either.

Doesn't hurt to show it again, does it? Any moneys into the club now will be going to run the club on a day to day basis. They don't go to DC, because (a) we make a loss and (b) we're in admin anyway. The downside is that he might get enough money on his own to buy it out of admin. But he might do that anyway.

The choices now are to find a buyer or lose the club totally. I think we're going to get more and better buyers if we look like a club with a big passionate fan base. End the boycott.

I find it very difficult to believe that a load of really rich people would pool their money so that Adam Shaw can try and buy the club he supports, when there's a load of other cubs available for those with no emotional attachment that are not owned by certified loonies.

My theory is that he would view selling (or admin) as us unfaithful, treacherous fans 'winning' because we get what we want. So he's going to make sure we lose, even if he does too.

I fully agree with most of what you're saying and as I say I think from other threads we're probably approaching from quite similar viewpoints, so I'm not going to argue for the sake of it. I think WMP are in a poo position and probably someone will be furious no matter what they pick. It shouldn't have got to this.
