Surely it's obvious looking back now he was way ahead of the rest of us, we should have taken note and been applying pressure on Chansiri much earlier.
-
I seem to recall him getting this good when he's not had an injury for quite a while. Hopefully he stays fit and the form continues.

Should a new Owner retain Pedersen OR replace?
sticklebricks replied to 1952Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Can't think of a manager I'd like more who we could attract in current circumstances. -
Does anyone know if Chansiri has to get the same percentage as other creditors in a sale? Or is there ways others can be maximised and his payment minimised?

Classy message from Henrik
sticklebricks replied to Rolls Royce Nilsson's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I really think he might be my favourite manager in ages... Odd thing to say given our scorelines but think it could have been so much worse. Remarkable he's kept the players head up. Does he have song yet? Coming down today for the first time in a while. -
I think he's here because he loves Sheffield and the peak district, the club and the players. He makes it very clear how difficult things are interviews in a way which is probably the most he can do without making his day to day life working even more miserable. I have such a good feeling about him, you can see how emotionally intelligent and clever he is. I'll back him if we lose every game until Chansiri is gone. I hope new owners come and keep him for at least 6 months with proper backing to see what he can really do.

I was gutted when it was obviously going pear shaped with Danny, but I can really see myself liking Pedersen above beyond any recent manager. How has Chansiri been so lucky.
-
I don't understand the logic of attending to see our kids (hopefully not) get battered by Leeds with only Leeds fans to listen to. Not my idea of a good time.
-
I reckon he just fancies himself as a film maker or something after that documentary and reckons he'll get somewhere with that via the Wrexham owners.

STATEMENT FROM DEJPHON CHANSIRI
sticklebricks replied to andypandy's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Despite everything I should be incredibly annoyed about in that statement, I'm honestly feeling so relieved and happy that he's confirmed he's looking to sell. I hope it's as soon as possible. -
The Truth About Danny
sticklebricks replied to Michaeltheowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I find it remarkable that people think despite the shitshow of how the club is run, that the managers should be able to overcome that and win every game. Its obviously toxic behind the scenes and for a manager to mitigate that and get players performing as well as Danny does is incredible. The focus needs to be, and always be in Chansiri leaving and how the club is run. -

Ball watching -
Is there a video of the penalty shouts kicking about? I didn't think they were stonewall in the moment. Ref was bad otherwise but we conceded 3 and he did us a favour with one of them.

Chalobah the Scapegoat
sticklebricks replied to Geörge Whitebread's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I've not seen his last couple of games but the ones I saw I really liked him. Wins the ball plenty and plays lots of simple but decent balls, normally moving the ball forward too. -
I'd have thought given how low on options we currently are that we'd have at brought in a disappointing CB if we couldn't get any of the preferred choices. I get the impression Röhl doesn't like to compromise though so maybe they only had a few options he was willing to consider. Or maybe they're happy if we pick up Hatuse that it keeps Lowe as a CB option.

I was actually relieved he wasn't as bad as the other games today, but he really slows the game down and kills momentum.

Outstanding professionalism
sticklebricks replied to steelowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I really, really enjoyed him asking Alex Miller about his head pain. -
I believe he is being truthful. The problem is, he has no self awareness and totally deluded on most things so what is true to him is not the same reality as the rest of us. Sadly, I do think it's true that unless someone finds him an offer too good to refuse he won't be leaving. So we literally need a miracle for that to happen.

I really like Chalobah -
I reckon a CB with less pace would have also struggled today.
-
It was one bad game, he started the first few games better than anyone else. He's best on right side in a back 4 though.
-
He's better on the right, and better in a back 4 than a back 3.
