First of I'd like to point out that I was given a program from the Swansea game so didn't pay for it. Secondly I fully understand why staff not being paid would ensure that the program contains the correct information. But according to the program some players have some impressive stats. Bannan has played 433 games for us this season, although to be fair to him it probably feels to him like he has. Max Lowe has scored 13 goals for us. Will Grainger has played for us 159 times despite only being 16. But the one stat that clearly gives it away is the idea that Ugbo has scored 9 times this season.

We may be on our arse but at least we're not Blades
Sir Says replied to Pablo Bonvin's topic in General Football Chat
Brilliant story in the staff room this morning. On the 1st day of term at local private boys school staff where informed about a new high profile parent, Ruben Selles. Staff where instructed to be mindful of this when talking about football. A few weeks later a local vicar came in to deliver an assembly and decided to base the assembly on the power of prayer. The vicar then proceeded to tell the pupils how his prayers had been answered over the weekend as Sheffield United had sacked the most useless manager in their history and Saint Christopher had returned. Cue awkward glances and heads in hands from the staff. Apparently Mr Selles was in school to complain the next day but has since moved back to Spain. -

The EFL are doing a fans survey. Link was in the weekly Sheffield Wednesday Newsletter. Found the first few questions very difficult to answer!

I suspect he knows he is going to have to sell but wants to delay it as long as possible to spite the fans. Hence no rants or words from he who cannot be named. The club staff know this and as such are just trying to keep things going until we get to that point. Time doesn't really matter if he can keep the club running without putting any of his own money in and just rely on the minimal incoming he is currently receiving. In reality the value of the club isn't going to be any different in March 2026 than it is now due to; 1. Someone like Ashley or Textor is buying the swfc brand, ie the fan base and history. That's not going to change in 6 months. 2. The ground is a complete dump and is already in need of complete renovation. Again 6 months more rust isn't going to make much difference. 3. We will be in league 1 anyway next season. 4. It's possible our squad value could actually increase if some of of younger players perform well, e.g Charles keeps pulling off world's, Bailey keeps scoring goals. I really do think either the regulator forces his hand or we will limp on to the end of this season at which point C***iri will sell us and regard it as a win for causing us to have suffered a season of misery.

It will be interesting to see the difference between the number of tickets sold and the actual number of Wednesday fans present. I suspect lots of people have bought tickets for TPP, especially after what happened with the Wrexham tickets.

If you went to every league away game and the 4 cup games you'd have 730 points. I believe members of the 1867 club get some further bonus points on top of that. I wonder when the Leicester tickets will go on sale?

I think we are the only team not to have a 12.30 slot. Definitely something done deliberately by sky. Maybe concerned that their staff could be at risk if protests kick off.

What about the away fans? 3000 every game paying £40 a pop is £120k a game. Let's face facts we are going to be everyone's favorite away trip next season.

I can't recall this being advertised anywhere but when I brought a ticket for the Coventry game using my foundation members ID for the North Stand the price dropped from £42 to £20

Anyone who attended High Storrs School will be familiar with the curse. The legendary Physics teacher there Sir Rodney Hayes issued a curse on the blades in 1973 when they desecrated a cricket ground on which Sir Don Bradman had scored a century. Since the curse was issued the blunts have won nothing of note, they have bottled both the play offs and cup semi finals on a regular basis and are destined to spend eternity in mediocrity.

I suspect that the best benefit from joining the club will have been the additional 230 TTP points each season. I'm surprised Chansiri hasn't clocked this and reintroduced it so that he can milk the massive demand for away tickets.

I'm a 10 year season ticket holder so not effected by all this early bird stuff. With the wonderful benefit of hindsight it's probably one of the best investments I've ever made as it could well end up being a lifetime ticket. Does anyone know how many 10 year season tickets were sold? Have renewed my 15 year old sons season ticket for £200 which is less than £10 a game which I think is quite reasonable. But the timing of it is appalling.

Unfortunately got to work when we are playing Hull away. Can buy in 2nd phase if anyone wants two tickets?

I now take my son to games which certainly gives you a different perspective. He loves the away days and we hardly ever miss one.

While at first glance this looks great but I fear an unintended consequence will be smaller away allocations.
