Don’t think either of them are the right level for the Championship at the moment. On the basis that everything Dawson does, or is about to do, makes me nervous….and the fact that he is 26/27 and should be showing greater maturity by now….I’d pick Vasquez who seems a more natural keeper, and has greater potential for improvement with more games, and under a decent GK coach, which I feel confident Danny will bring in.

Agree on Musaba and Gassama. Would hope he can get George Byers operating at the kind of levels we saw from Kieran Lee, and also get the best out of Malik Wilks....who has all the physical attributes to be a pretty decent Championship player.

More to the point for me is why..... despite 'not quite having enough volume' or 'feeling a bit of soreness' or whatever other tenuous, over-cautious reason you care to conjure up....we didn't have Malik Wilks.....who 'should be fine for Wednesday'.... sitting on that bench ready to contribute 10 or 15 minutes if needed....and boy was he needed. Clough, Revie and the like would be turning in their graves...

Give him time for goodness sake. He’s coming into an established midfield, in a club with big expectations, and is still working out where and how he fits in. He’s no shrinking violet like Wing was…(overawed by the scale of the club and by the presence of Bannan). When he saw Bannan was having a stinker, I thought he really started to impose himself and was our most effective midfielder in the first half. We have excellent midfield options and I’ve no doubt that Vaulks will make some very telling contributions over the course of the season. If Bannan’s form does dip, or he gets a serious injury, we’ll be very pleased we’ve got Vaulks on.board.

What’s the status of your earlier link to a possible return for George Hirst?

Dunkley in to organise the defence at set pieces and counteract the aerial threat of Vadaine Oliver (20 goals in this league last season, most of them headers) and the long throws of their right wing back Jackson. Feels like the right move to me if Dean isn't quite ready to start

I came on here to rant about Harris......but it’s all been said. So I’ll rant about the muppets that started him...and started him anywhere other than right wing/wing back, which is the only position he is capable of putting in an occasionally acceptable performance. And played Patterson there instead (WTF!) who is always one foul away from a sending off, has no pace and no recognisable crossing ability. And failed to take him (Harris) off at half time and replace him with ANYONE!!!

Not a team player. His selfishness was our undoing for their second. Should have slipped it to Marriott but lost possession. Don’t think he’ll ever change...and the odd glory goal doesn’t make up for it. Nothing more deflating if you’re struggling than knowing that not everyone is playing for the team. Norwich is a team. Twenty minutes in we could all see it wasn’t working. Why the hell wouldn’t you change formation at half time?...we’ve got plenty of subs! Penney off for Reach, swap Windass for Rhodes and Bannan back in the middle...simples. He seems a very honest, straightforward bloke...needed to be honest enough with himself to acknowledge he’d made a mistake and to leave himself enough time to correct it.

Definitely.... needs both of them out though, and whoever might be involved in the background. How many signatures do you think we could get on a petition to have the running of the club investigated? If we can get 40,000+ to Wembley, surely at least half that would be realistic. Of course we know there wouldn't be an investigation by the FA or anyone else, but it might generate enough national sports media probing to make our owner/s seriously look at selling up
