Never met him but he came across as genuine and a gentleman. I've kept his photo as my avatar since he sold us and will continue to do so, even when we get a new owner, after all he saved our club. RIP Sir.

Unpaid wages, captaincy and pride - Barry Bannan opens up
Bob replied to YesWeCrann's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It's enough to make you cry. I've got no words to describe DC, how he sleeps at night knowing his loyal staff are struggling is beyond my comprehension. It will come to an end, when ???? -
Trust Members: Vote on Engagement Panel Participation
Bob replied to Morepork's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I voted no. Totally against secretive meetings. -
I like him. Speaks well, without any hyperbole. Clearly has the support of the dressing room and players are supporting each other. Just got to get DC out and with the right investment the Owl will soar.
-
You'll never get 100% support. Judging by the attendance last night, support must 80% or better. Tremendous, come a long way in a short time. Just got hang in there, our time will come, no doubt about it.

Will Fans Stop Saying They're ITK
Bob replied to Shezmeister's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I am the opposite. Along with many others I was elated when thebizzle posted about the Walton proposal. I have learnt a lesson and will only believe respected sports journalists and then be sceptical until an official announcement. -
One area that concerns me is the Engagement Meetings. Will all groups agree to either withdraw whilst DC is the owner, or attend ? I look forward to hearing what the Trust is doing and fear there will be differing views with other fan groups. I do agree there needs to be a coordinated fan base, can only hope they will put self interests aside for the greater good.

Thebizzle is a busted flush.

I'll clarify my post. If the Trust announce prior to the meeting they will stand up to him and demand he leaves, I would support them.
-
If the Trust are involved, my wife and I membership will be cancelled.

Is the.Regulator going to have the teeth for quick action. My fear is there will be a long winded process and then any decision will be challenged through the courts leading to months of delays. He may run totally out of money further down the line and owe HMRC and eventual admin. I cling to the hope he is playing last minute games, hoping for more money. Who knows what he will do ?

Like many I am totally fed up with this owner. Also fed up with reading false rumours, just waiting for real info that a deal is very close or done. Can't do anything about what others think, say or do so why bother ?

I've joined that club.

I don't know you and likewise you don't know me. What I do know Is I have loved your posts over the years and respected your views. It's not right to see your kids pass before you and I can't begin to imagine the pain. Very best wishes to you and all the family.

Is this starting to play out nicely for Chansiri?
Bob replied to RUMBELOWS91's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It's either a takeover or Regulator will get him out. -
Nice town, relatives live there. Dragon racing on the Ouse this weekend.

No complaints from me, but I'm in the referee union. Lol

Disproportionate to the scale of the issue ? Wow, we are being run into the ground with a real fear of folding and you say the protest was "disproportionate". Enough said.

My ideal scenario would be a new owner with long term plans for a new stadium. I'd settle at this moment for a new owner.

Did someone actually take the time and effort to post this sh... ? We are hovering between being wound up and super rich. I know what I prefer.
