  1. This needs careful planning with The PFA and The EFL as it will bring repercussions on the club with likely points deduction which we have so far not had. That said I fully support the players and staff in withdrawing their labour when not being paid. It will hopefully expedite a solution
  2. This for me is the sobering thought on our current plight. We've been going backwards since the early 90s. I spoke to a mate who is a Derby fan about a match we lost at Hillsborough to them 2-5 in the mid 90s. That was the start of the decline when we'd gone from Woods Walker Waddle Sheridan Palmer etc all top level internationals to Atherton Nolan Rudi etc good solid players but not internationals and then players like Carbone DiCanio before Sibon and DeBilde who we went down with.
  3. Any way of drawing attention to the issue especially outside Sheffield is positive. I know many people around the country and the world. Been on holiday in Portugal speaking to other British football fans too who really have no idea how bad things are.
  4. I've been thinking for a while we need the Trust to step forward and we need to get behind them as a unified voice. There will always be some uncomfortable with action and some wanting to get more extreme but the Trust has support of most if not all the major fans groups. We then need to get our celebrity fans to help publicise the trusts action in the media. This gives it credibility to many who are uncomfortable and unsure about taking action. If it comes through a well supported central body like the Trust people are more likely to get onboard and follow the action. This was shown at Leicester. It may be slower to build than many on here would like (such as Leeds boycott) but it's the only way to get the message out and to ensure the support of the majority. They have credibility as shown by being the body supported by Wrexhams owners and they need to maintain that though which will prevent them upsetting the EFL and other bodies too much
  5. Black and gold would send a message
  6. Great Grandparents, Grandparents and Dad all from Hillsborough. Dad would take me in for last 10 minutes on Leppings Lane when gates opened around 73/74 and my first full game against York around that time. Got a season ticket 82/83 season. I was a young referee and was very much encouraged to stop going to Hillsborough and to do Saturday leagues but chose not to IWhen I graduated I didn't move away for work so I could keep going. I did eventually spend 2 years abroad from 2003 to 2005 but returned and took up season tickets again to this day
  7. This for me. I'm a Group 3. Bought my season ticket last December and I'll be going along with my mates. We won't buy a single thing of the club because of Chansiri and also because the quality is crap and it's expensive. Whether I go or not won't make one single but of difference to Chansiri
  8. It's just the usual disaster from the club. Invested in these hoardings to give us increased capacity and therefore increased revenue from advertising. Then fail to attract anyone to advertise on them, other than the EFL ones and one or two local companies that are probably fans wanting to be associated with the club? Just another revenue stream we fail to capitalise on
  9. This is true. Genuine people at the top of their game don't hang around very long. There's a list of people who have no affiliation with club who have come in to do a job and left very quickly. Leaving only those who have been brought up through the club to hang onto the pieces. A good business needs a healthy mix of talent. We all know who the next talented person to leave next will be
  10. Weren't we being sued by someone who had trademarked the WAWAW logo that we were using on shurts etc. There was a legal issue and we also paid for rights to continue using it I think? Also could be more than one thing it's just total costs
  11. I wear same pair of red?!? pants Always same turnstile Always run up all stairs to get to seat. I wait till its a clear run! Had to stop on stairs at Watford game as a chap stepped out and I nearly knocked him flying so it is totally my fault we lost 2-6. Apologies for that
  12. Is it that unusual? Chansiri never has a budget and expects Roehl to request each player purchase / loan. Not how most people run a business but how Chansiri always has. Danny like all managers will be pushing for all the resources he can and likely come end of Jan be a bit frustrated he hasn't got everything he wanted but we have brought in a couple of the high impact loans he talks about. Hopefully it's that. If Chansiri doesn't keep Roehl at least then it can only be there is no money as surely even he can see that Roehl is by far the best chance he has of any return on his investment.
  13. Exactly the reason why you have 3. If ones injured you still have 2
  14. Andy Blair hat trick of penalties
