  1. You mean Hillsborough club on bradfield road, was a member there for years up until 2020. A fiver a year to join, the last time I went in was last year, most of my mates I used to meet before the game, enjoy a few pints, a few stopped going to the matches so didn't bother after that, such a pity, another tradition gone,
  2. Bunker and pratley's in the hole in the road, me me, my brother and mum and dad went in to buy our first colour TV in there, my dad was humming and ahhing about which one to get, until the salesman said who do you support, we said Wednesday, he told us they'd got a second hand one in the window that used to belong to one of the partners, who also happened to have played for Wednesday, who left to live in South Africa, it was Jackie Sinclair's TV, no brainer.

  13. If you call gaffer tape replacing / upgrading then yes
  14. Totally agree, we need to get the playing surface back to what it was pre premiership days, that means digging up the already damaged drainage system, replacing it, and relaying the pitch , if we want to play football on the deck , and encourage the better players, it's going to cost money yes , but in the long run it's better than games being called off like we've seen this season , and it'll just get worse if doesn't get sorted
  15. Come on mystery man we're waiting !
  16. Brilliant news,I saw the plea on twitter last night and I'm so pleased that wednesdayites have pulled together and have helped fellow owls in need , I am so proud of this club , brings into perspective the banality of deadline day. I hope Emma and her party have a great day. P.s glenowl - insensitive tvvat
  17. Graham Shaw's cafe in the fish market , I worked with Graham's late son
  18. Me and my son are in the north stand , and we don't want him anywhere near our club, besides if stuart grey and Bully get us playing the ball like we did last night ie on the floor , why would we want to go back to having stiff necks again.
  19. That's funny , i remember him having his shop at the arcade down the bottom of the moor, near to where suggs and the original redgates were, i remember as a kid walking down the moor and spotted the then owls keeper of the day Peter Springett with my Dad (i know he was thinning a bit on top) walking into Fantham's barbers , i went in and asked him for his autograph , to which Johnny, whilst cutting someones hair said "do you want mine as well", me been young said "nahh! , i've only come to get Springett's" , the shop was full and everybody just burst out laughing, not realising i'd just turned down a wednesday legend .
  20. I went that day , johnson sent in a 25 yard screamer , got back home in time to see it on match of the day, and yes it was the first wednesday win in an absolute age ,
