RIP A great man, with an even greater underwater telephone
-
It happened, and they didn’t get booed. So you were wrong?
-
Worth mentioning I think that the invasion sparked the longest and most sustained period of Chansiri Out chants we’ve had at Hillsborough this season. For a few minutes the ground was buzzing with ‘Get out our Club..’ chants. It’s a shame people allow that to be lost by resorting to slandering the fans who remained in the stands instead.

To everyone that went on the pitch

Many around me, myself included, started booing the stewards who were chasing and wrestling a couple of lads infront of the Kop goal mouth. Before that everyone around me stood up and applauded the lads who’d ran on. -
Booing was for the stewards? No surprise people have taken to putting a negative spin on the people that didn’t join the guys who went on the pitch. This clubs loves infighting, it’s a shame it can’t be used as a form of protest! We’d be shut of Chansiri by now if we could!

No one booed them ffs. It’s just the usual negative testicles certain Wednesday fans love to jump all over when something doesn’t go as they wish.- 184 replies

How have we not been docked points yet?
NeonLeon replied to ThisCityIsOurs88's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Not paid HMRC and other clubs. Utd got 2 points for not paying one club on time, we didn’t pay about 5 if the stories are true. -
I just don't see the point of any of this

It’s Friday afternoon, and I posted that last night. What full time whistle? As I said before it’s not even a dig at the players, just an observation of the unfortunate situation Pedersen in. Again read my post and it’s pretty obvious what I was saying. Why you’re banging on about what he can & can’t say because of Chansiri, and people slagging players on here after the full time whistle is genuinely bewildering. -

No, but good for you jumping to conclusions. If you read my full post instead of just isolating a small part to have a random dig you’d have understood that. -

The worst bit is watching how much passion and dedication Pedersen is putting into each game. Some parts of that presser he’s really animated when talking about what they can do to improve. But then he stops short of the glaring issue, despite how much running & intensity they play with, the quality just isn’t there. -
Could this just be a formalising of the restrictions they were trying to get out of on Deadline Day?

I renewed before the Fans Forum and felt like I’d bought a League One season ticket in the weeks that followed it. Everything literally fell to pieces. But even then I couldn’t have predicted that in the weeks before, let alone what happened this summer. The sniping that’s been going off around people who renewed in January is ignorant and short sighted. .

Probably time to boycott a league game...

Why are people still arguing home attendances? You’ll never get a true figure of how many’s there, but the home attendance to the eye is clearly decreasing week on week. So naive just to expect it to go from 27k to zero overnight. Even we boycott a game all the way down to zero, you’ll still get some idiot on here saying ‘why was 18k there Saturday?!’. -
I’m pushing it to as late as possible, day before the first game next season if need be. Someone on the WTID podcast made a good point the other night. Easy win for a new owner that came in after any early bird phase would be to at the very least freeze at those prices, if possible even offer partial refunds to those that did renew.
-
The biggest problem for the owner now is what they’ll have to agree to for Wilder to go back. Eventually he did pretty well out of it last time. Once he’s got them winning again he’ll be wanting a new contract and a boat load of cash to get his own players in. You’d have to be worried as a Blade. The owners ripped up the ethos of the club to go their own way 3 months back, and now the seemingly started back tracking already. You’d imagine it isn’t the same club behind the scenes that Wilder left in June/July.
-
First half their keeper went long and he was running in our half with his back to the ball. Iorfa had to shout him to turn round as the ball was dropping literally onto his head. His lack of awareness is utterly astounding in truth. Watch some of the goals in the games he’s played, loads have come from people playing off his shadow.
-
And lengthy stadium bans for whoever is daft enough to do it.
-
He asked for the money for them in May didn’t he? So it’s all been spent anyway, they’re no different to Season Ticket holders in terms of being misled.
-
If there’s a deduction over 15 I genuinely could see us finishing on a minus. The aim after a deduction will undoubtedly be just to finish on plus points.

Thing I found strange about today was it felt like Pedersen crowbarred Kobacki in at wing back a few weeks ago to get around playing Otegbayo at all. Why he couldn’t have gone with the back 5 at Wrexham with Amass for Kobacki was odd. It’s obviously true options to change it up are short on the ground. But I do think there’s scope to say the options that are available aren’t that much worse, especially in Otegbayo’s case. All he really has over Weaver and co. is a handful more senior starts. When he first game into the team last year it just felt like a seniority pick rather than experience or ability.
-
In his defence he came through as a midfielder 15 years ago. He’s probably played there 10-15 times since, each time proving the position has evolved beyond his ability. God knows why Pedersen chucked him in there considering that his performances in that position were effectively why Röhl bombed him in the end. He’s been hooked early every single time due to how poor he’s been too. Despite being really poor defensively in his early years imo, it’s actually his biggest strength these days. His ability to read a game, twinned with his ability on the ball at the back makes him more than capable in a back 3 at this level. The only thing that needs bowing out is playing him in midfield, despite all his worst performances being in that position. Fusire looked a huge upgrade when he came purely because he can play on the half turn, unlike Palmer.
-
To be fair I think it is a back 5, but Otegbayo isn’t a great pivot unfortunately. I think Weaver has a lot more to his game than Otegbayo, but it’d be a huge amount of responsibility in that role for him. However, he looks to be an excellent communicator which is vital for that position.

A Tuesday night game would be ideal. On Sky too so not like people can’t watch at home. -
How many bags were given out pre game, because the end result bizarrely looks like people just took the home? Odd all round, it should’ve been a pretty flawless protest in theory

Fans leaving at half time (0-3)

How though? Entering the pitch is illegal. The club has also just spent a fortune on face recognition. Even if Chansiri sells whoever enters the pitch won’t see the benefit for about 5 seasons if they’re lucky. Also, when we’ve got a game called off for entering the pitch, and he still hasn’t sold, what do we do then?
