Luckily for us we managed to keep the ball in the corner for 5 minutes against bottom of league We sparkled at times tonight and we were sloppy at other times. Good result , okay performance. I saw Sancho with his training stuff off (cant remember if begining of extra time or not. i was a bit drunk) and thought he was coming on. Just going back over the substitutions again, I thought it showed a massive amount of disrespect and condecension to Rashord and Sancho that Southgate thought they were only any use for penalties. He wanted them to have so little time on the pitch that he almost left it too late to get them on. Abominable management. Who knows what could have been if he had allowed our team to attack.

I’m still fuming at the use of our subs. Constant reference to the quality on the bench but we don’t use it. Should have been 3 changes at the start of extra time. Use the fresh legs. So.... as another 3 months passed, I contacted Lloyds again to ask if there was anything I can do The bank are refunding the money onto my Credit Card and sending the club a Retrospective Indemnity which basically says SWFC owe that refund to the bank now... not me. I would rather than the club had refunded me ... but its been over a year now since I indicated I wanted a refund , and 9 months since the clubs own deadline

Apologies, you are right. So win and we get Germany , France or Portugal Draw and we get Slovakia, Sweden, Poland or Spain I'd love to see us put on a performance and win comfortably and confidently against the Czechs.... but id also like to see us play our last 16 v Slovakia.

Runners up don’t play runners up. Only teams to impress so far are Italy and Germany France and Spain obviously have the players but Spain are nothing to worry about, they’ve been as bad as us. I’d take that as the knockout fixture. France, for all their flair have only scored 1 goal (excluding Hummels OG). Hungary gave them a game. I think I’d rather finish 2nd and take chances with Spain than win our group and get demolished by Germany again. But finishing second involves drawing to Czech Republic which doesn’t give us any momentum for what’s to come. Another tourney , another England shitshow.
