Luckily for us we managed to keep the ball in the corner for 5 minutes against bottom of league We sparkled at times tonight and we were sloppy at other times. Good result , okay performance. I saw Sancho with his training stuff off (cant remember if begining of extra time or not. i was a bit drunk) and thought he was coming on. Just going back over the substitutions again, I thought it showed a massive amount of disrespect and condecension to Rashord and Sancho that Southgate thought they were only any use for penalties. He wanted them to have so little time on the pitch that he almost left it too late to get them on. Abominable management. Who knows what could have been if he had allowed our team to attack.

I’m still fuming at the use of our subs. Constant reference to the quality on the bench but we don’t use it. Should have been 3 changes at the start of extra time. Use the fresh legs. Make something happen. Such a wasted opportunity. Southgate is such a coward. He got the job by accident not merit and has managed to throw away 2 unbelievable chances now and he’s secured himself for 2022 and 2024.

So.... as another 3 months passed, I contacted Lloyds again to ask if there was anything I can do The bank are refunding the money onto my Credit Card and sending the club a Retrospective Indemnity which basically says SWFC owe that refund to the bank now... not me. I would rather than the club had refunded me ... but its been over a year now since I indicated I wanted a refund , and 9 months since the clubs own deadline
