Reports are that the loaners want the loan balance reducing to about £4m meaning that DC needs to find circa £3.8m.

The rumour was that the directors of a construction company that have a box at Hillsborough had paid for the work to get the prohibition notice removed. Whether that's true and whether they're paying for the ongoing work I've no idea.

If that's true DC must have provided some assurances that he can pay wages.

It will prove they are doing the best they can within their own rules to force DC'S hand. They have an agreement with DC/his representatives that DC must show he can fund the club or sell the club at a fair market value to someone who can fund the club. If the rumours are true that DC has turned down reasonable offers and said he doesn't want to sell then he's acting against the process agreed with the EFL unless he provides the necessary proof of funding. Anything the EFL do that puts further pressure on the clown is fine by me.

Until the clown does the sensible thing and sells up I think we can expect a struggle at the end of every month.
