  1. Realistically, our only chance or scoring is a worldie out of nothing or a mistake.
  2. Yeah, at least he can sometimes cover for his own mistakes
  3. There no leadership and organisation in the back 3. Even half fit cooper a better option imo
  4. Some idiot chucking stuff on the pitch after they scored. ******** imbecile.
  5. Can you post a link to where he said that?
  6. Wait, isn't lewis Hamilton.... never mind
  7. And it had.
  8. I'm the same, the Waltons are the dream owners so it's hard to pull back from that once the idea has been floated. There is just no credible evidence they're involved. We might still get a fantastic outcome though.
  9. Is this a red flag do you think? Any idea who else is part of the group?
  10. But isn't the reason the ski village was there is because of the great big bloody hill?
  11. Sheffield is different to most cities because of geography and topography. There loads of great big hills in most directions but east and directly to the west is the peak district.
  12. It is yeah, in fact I would think the administrators would be suggesting and facilitating that conversation as it might lead to the sale, but only on owlstalk could the news of "it's not the Waltons" be interpreted as "it probably is the Waltons"
  13. I guess that's what the meeting was about...can land be made available and at what cost/timescales. Presumably the council will know the longer term plans and vision for the area.
  14. Mad init. It's been confirmed by a credible source that a group has met the council about a new stadium, which would cost hundreds of millions of pounds and shows ambition to a scale we've never had before (from where we were a month ago, no less), and people go "...but, but it's not the Waltons, but, but bizzle said it was the Waltons...".
  15. I share your concerns. Unfortunately increasing revenue for the club is not compatible with protecting other businesses.
  16. I put money on that's because it's not the Waltons!
  17. Im guessing the star and RS journalists have contacts at the Council. When they see online rumours they'll see an opportunity for a story and ring them up. Convo probably goes like this.. Staton: did the Waltons have a meeting with you about swfc. Council: No. Staton: can you tell me who did? Council: No Staton reports accordingly
  18. Sounds like these are the front runners. Interesting you say "group". It's the only bidders we've had real solid info on. From what limited info i can find on Mcevoy online, there are reports that he has made money in real estate so that lines up with what you are says. This sounds similar to the Birmingham approach.
  19. If they choose to go public
  20. How many is several? When it comes to several, well, there are going to be several answers. Generally speaking, several is used to refer to quantities above two or so but not so much that it’s a lot or many. Perhaps the most common interpretation or intended sense of several is around three to five, but this can vary greatly depending on the context. If the numbers under discussion are particularly large, then the exact meaning of several can expand. For example, several people could mean eight or nine or even more in a crowd of hundreds, but four or five in a crowd of 10. several vs. few Due to their malleable, nonspecific nature, several and a few can certainly overlap. Obviously, a few is on the low end, with several higher, so they overlap somewhere in the middle. For example, four cats could be several or a few, depending on the situation, expectations, or other factors.
