  1. Yes !! He wouldn't pass the initial EFL tests and he couldn't provide a sustainability plan (including proof of funds) to cover the next 2 years at a minimum. Davey therefore falls at first hurdle
  2. Prospective buyers have to show they will pass the EFL owners tests. Then they have to show they can viably plan to fund the club for the next few years. Once those conditions are met, it then becomes the largest bid as they have a duty to obtain the best outcome for the creditors.
  3. Some of our earlier games gave us a little bit of hope. Injuries will just strip that hope away when the squad is so thin and it will only get worse as the season progresses. Shouldn't be a surprise to any of us though......I think we all knew that this was coming.
  4. It would seem that somehow Howard Wilkinson was involved and letters showing a payout to him and not to the players didn't go down too well with Rod Wallace or Brian Deane. Mr Wilkinson declined to be involved in the documentary or provide a comment !!!
  5. Figures flying around 'X' this morning (yeh, I know you can't trust most things on that platform) showing HMRC, wages and monies due to other clubs as a little over £4.7 million.
  6. I honestly think the decision making has been removed from our beloved leader and that the family are now involved. Better business experience and looking to do what they can to fend off fines, embargoes and winding up orders before they can sell and take the hit on the 'sunk costs'. It's not pretty and we as fans hate it.........but if it opens up a better & stable future under new owners then so be it.
  7. That's a very good point. Maybe, just maybe, any potential buyers consider £2.5million to be pocket change and know that they can develop our beloved club to the position we all dream about.
  8. Some excellent points from the prospective buyers and every reason to be optimistic if they were to be successful. BUT..... My worry is that Chansiri has borrowed funds from several sources (no proof, just my guess from various sources of info) and that any amount under the stated £100mulluon or so leaves him in a massive financial black hole that will completely finish him. If that's anywhere near his real position then he's really playing complete 'poo or bust' with our future.
  9. Just seen on X
  10. Anybody had any updates yet following requests for refunds ?
  11. Comfortable top half will be fine with me and two decent results against the Blunts.
  12. Possible indications for next season ???
  13. An absolute disaster of a club owned by a complete idiot. Nothing will change....we're headed for the lower leagues AND STILL some people can't see the damage that Chansiri is doing to our club !!
