The prices will be key. If you're expecting people to shell out £40 a ticket to watch us in League one it's going to be a hard sell! Reasonably priced season tickets is the key! Particularly for families!
I'm in that boat. My last game was Wembley. After DC sacked Moore that was the last straw for me. He didn't get a penny more from me (or my family). My dad and I are going to this game and it's jarring to be honest having to shell out £76 for me and an OAP! I had a season ticket for 25+ years then membership for a couple. But once you're out of the habit and have found other things to spend your money on it's a bit of a shock. I've adopted a kid and taken up golf since my last visit to Hillsborough and honestly, I'm not sure I see myself getting a season ticket again any time soon. I asked my daughter if she wanted to come to this game as it would be a big one (and her first) and she said "No, it's too long" (she's only 6). She's clearly a couple of years away from wanting to go and I'm not going without my family on the regular.
Whoever comes in NEEDS to look at pricing. It's utterly obscene that to watch a single game of second division football, played by two teams struggling at the bottom, one who WILL be relegated, could cost 2 adults over £100! No single game should ever cost over £50 in this division.
