  1. Sorry but it's not perfect at all. You'd struggle to get the existing ground on it. Then you're situated in between 2 busy shopping areas (meadowhall / IKEA + retail park), then very close to arena hosting concerts and Steelers. Traffic can be bad enough as it is, but it would absolutely flatline it Where is the parking going to be? Land opposite is already being built on iirc. What about anything other club related club shop or fan facilities? What about actual venues for fan drinking? How are fans going to vacate the area (Meadowhall train station is small)? Then you have flooding as a consideration But then I guess it depends on the ambitions of a new owner. It's not imo.
  2. Why is it surrounded by chimneys!?
  3. Can't you take your phone with you? Terrible commitment
  4. 5th December will not be anything to us and other than maybe we've had some bids and even maybe a preferred bidder has been set (but not who), nothing will change for us supporters. We're going to have to wait until new year unfortunately
  5. And on that, any money raised during this period which is left over goes towards paying creditors in the original debt
  6. Yes. A cut off is made at the point of administration. Debt accrued now is new debt which will need to be settled in full. Hopefully that won't be much though with the administrators obviously trying to run a tight ship, so any money raised by fans or sponsorship will help 1000%
  7. 1000% Nando. It's not even a contest Nice reminder for everyone. The good old days of silky football https://youtu.be/QzGj3lNygK0?si=z_7Se-8pQHHZGHEq
  8. I'm going to stick my head above the parapet here at the risk of hate, but I was one of the ones who clapped. Not through disrespect, but just because I both totally forgot it was a minutes silence straight after, as well as being sucked in to it with others doing it. Once I remembered I stopped immediately I know people shouldn't need to be reminded of the protocol, but we're human and either make mistakes or just don't know. The fact there wasn't a single disturbance during the last post and even for the brief time the silence was adhered to shows people wasn't disrespecting the meaning behind it all. I genuinely don't know if it was announced of the procedure, but I definitely didn't hear it. I don't think there is any harm reminding people of it though over the tannoy if they get the quality better. There will be loads of youngsters who won't have a clue.
  9. Yet they don't get away with it!? They literally cheated their way to a £100m windfall by not paying for players, and literally got a few points deduction biggest cheats out of all of us
  10. They don't need to make the name public, that's up to the bidder if they want to go public
  11. You say that, but walking to the ground we saw 3 stewards just standing on a corner chatting away. For effectively just watching people scanning their own tickets they could have pulled a few away from stewarding to sit there for half hour? It's not like there was a sudden rush of pay on the gate tickets, this was well known upfront of the amount of people coming. Poor planning imo Was quite funny listening to one of the supervisors telling us to all keep moving up to other turnstiles if we want to get in.... we'd already moved up and the ones further up were no less busier so pointless advice. He'd be more useful going and sitting on opening another one up himself
  12. Nice to know what Kris looked like after his holiday, but what about the other person!?!
  13. We're probably going to end up with 6k empty seats
  14. A bit of perspective needs to be given I think. I like Kris, I think he comes across really well and I think we're in good hands. However... He does have his job to do which is basically try to sell the club to the highest bidder. That will involve talking things up to try attract higher bids, especially for such a public sale with us. Saying stuff like game changing interest and the likes are very easy things to say without having to prove it and without having to disclose who, to try drum up bigger bids. He's not exactly going to say there is little interest or they interested parties are not much cop. Not saying he's lying at all, but just bear it in mind that none of us have any idea what is going on behind closed doors and I guess try not to get hopes up too much and try not to read in to every thing he says. We could easily end up with someone who maybe is just "wealthy" so not billionaire but who can actually run us properly with a plan, and that is ok too
  15. No chance on Dishon unfortunately. Not even training is he? Because 99% of them are c****?
