I am so sorry to hear this. Oxfordshire will always be Blue & White. -

I remember getting into the ground at 5.30pm for a 7.45pm kick off. (They opened the turnstiles especially early due to the expected crowd size.) Watching the ground get fuller and fuller. It felt we were big time again even through still a Division 2 side.

Went to Worksop Town v Garforth Town friendly on Saturday for £7.50. Took in Oxford United v West Brom last night for £10. So £15 to watch to watch a top division Spanish side sounds about spot on. Wish I could get up to Hillsborough for 7.pm.

Who Are Ya? - Sheffield Wednesday (Q&A)
OxfordOwl replied to JTI1992's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I got 9 out of 15, took it as a pass. -
A nice little side story, Karl Robinson's nephew asking KR for a ticket in the Wednesday end.

I use them all the time Morgan (and no I am not commission).

Meant to say you can get a Bus 3A from Oxford High Street to the Kassam. Takes 25 mins. (More time in the Four Candles if you get a Taxi).
-
Ok, you got Wetherspoons /The Four Candles in city centre on George Street OX12B. Second spoons/ The Swan & Castle in city centre on Castle Street OX11AY. It's one side of the Westgate shopping centre which is 10 mins walk from the station. A better pub is called The Royal Blenheim,13 StEbbes Street OX11PT. The other side of the Westgate center from The Swan&Castle. Drink in town then get a cab to the ground 15 mins drive. Royal cars on 01865 777333. Cheaper than black cabs and NO Uber operate in Oxford. Travel safely and see you there.

Not seen an official Team Photo since that 2015-16 Season. I wonder what the reason for stopping them was? (Or living away from Sheffield, maybe I have missed them?)

I remember going to the FA cup game in 1984. They (OUFC)were on a good run at the time, WIlkinson's boys roll into town and won 3-0! It was a tidy little ground the Manor (much better than the three sided shed that is the Kassam) -I was not an OxfordOwl then merely a WorksopOwl; little did I know Oxford would would be my home for 30 years. -

According to the Third Tier podcast, Aiden Mcgeady is the best midfielder in league one. (Well according to the Mackham contributor anyway) https://youtu.be/5glyZOKlaUw
