  1. I can’t see us winning a single league game, the odd draw perhaps but other than that it will be defeat after defeat.
  2. Apparently so, in the UK, Ireland and the USA. Around 300 matches throughout the season.
  3. In business at Christmas and do we finish the season? God, I hope so! Avoid relegation? Extremely unlikely but stranger things have happened. I think we would need a Takeover in the next two weeks, only a small points deduction and lots of luck.
  4. I understand people pointing out that other teams will struggle and they will but currently we are so below struggle it’s not even funny.
  5. After everything that’s happened this summer, that video and those words have proper brought a tear to my eyes. What a show of loyalty and commitment.
  6. Never mind, at this rate, he’ll be in our starting eleven next month!
  7. One bloke, one pot of paint…..poor fella!
  8. It’s scary that we are struggling to put a first team starting eleven together never mind substitutes or dare I say a full first team squad.
  9. At Wednesday you can’t predict the next five hours never mind years!
  10. Maldini Bergkamp Zidane R9 Messi
  11. 1) Shea Charles 2) Windass 3) Lowe Most improved goes to Gassama.
  12. What a frustrating half of football. Completely dominate and losing! Let’s see what the second half brings.
  13. Anyone checked to see if the player’s have been paid recently?
  14. Between 12th-16th would be progress and from what I’ve seen so far, a realistic target.
  15. We certainly have good memories from our last away game of last season. Today will surely be much more difficult but we go to Sunderland full of confidence and nothing to fear. One game at a time. WAWAW.
  16. Regi Blinker scored two on his Wednesday debut….think we lost 3-2 at Villa Park?
  17. Plymouth were terrible and it was the first game of the season so it’s difficult to really assess where we are at currently. Our team performance and the performance of our new signings definitely filled me with confidence though. It was a very solid and encouraging start.
  18. Paul Warhurst when he became an emergency striker. Didn’t he score something like 12 goals in 12 games during an incredible run?
  19. I think he’ll stay and contribute for now. Depending on how things pan out, I could see him leaving in the January transfer window.
  20. Pressman Nilsson Pearson Walker Worthington Waddle Sheridan Palmer Bannan Di Canio Hirst
  21. I love watching City. People constantly talk about the sheer amount of money they’ve spent but so have Man United and Chelsea to name but two. I admire the determination and hunger for success, the will to keep the standards sky high and to be the very best, season after season. It’s remarkable. I like how Pep keeps a strong core of player’s but introduces a few youngsters and new signings to freshen things up. City don’t always pay silly money for transfer fees especially when you consider the return and improvements most player’s make under Pep’s guidance. It doesn’t bore me and if I were a diehard Man City supporter I would be loving every second of it.
  22. Absolutely unbelievable. I really hope they achieve it.
  23. He’s been excellent in 2024, we’ve got a real find down that right hand side. He seems to be developing a really good understanding with Liam Palmer. Hope we see both of them next season.
