Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
rawowl replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Anyone still saying its paid for so they will still go, is the equivalent to someone on the titanic stood in the buffet queue on the Titanic while the warning sirens are blaring out. for one season only please just write off the money you have paid for your ST. All fans should be looking at the bigger picture.- 304 replies

It should be a heavy points deduction that comes at some point. its a great effort by HP and the squad so far. But its a battle/war that cannot be won while DC is here.

Video- PEDERSEN PRESSER THOUGHTS PORTSMOUTH
rawowl replied to punkyhorrors's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Adding more coaching staff !!!! MEH I know Henrik has to pretend its business as usual. But these Press conferences are very hard to watch. i feel for him and i feel for the local press having to go through the motions asking the standard questions without going to far regarding off the pitch shenanigans. -
I’d take Chansiri being announced as the new owner wearing a fake moustache as a disguise at the moment. At least it would be some relief until it fell off mid press conference because the daft mentalist used pritstick instead of gorilla glue.

A few signings today would make quite a few fans think this is down to DC and things are slowly on the up. because sadly some dont get it still.
-
Felipe Melo hanging around the bus stop just in case.

I cant think of anything better. Could not see how we reached 20 points this season before the season , and four games in cant see how now. Even after 2 gutsy away performances l. Goals wise i would expect a goal in maybe every other game or so. 30 goals tops would be my estimate no matter who was manager, whatever system we played unless better quality came in. Once the injuries kick in from the same players playing game after game, i think we will be celebrating 0-0 Draws like we have won the cup.

Ok 99 Million - Asda price

Think its the case that we need the IFR to get involved asap to find out what powers they actually do have. Because its quite clear he isnt looking to do a deal for a reasonable offer anytime soon. We can go round in circles discussing it, but it gets us no further forward. Over to the IFR as THE test case.
-
I was thinking about sponsors boycotting. And executive box holders not renewing.
-
The EFL will want us to complete the season. If we dont sign anyone before the deadline (yes this would be a free so doesn’t really matter) then a few injuries and our first 11 would not be competitive. i think the EFL will loosen the signings restrictions to let us get some reinforcements in. And a guess its not related to DC proving he has funds going forward.

Maybe the best Owlstalk post i have seen for a long long time. nailed it.
-
I hope we are not allowed to sign anyone under Chansiri. It puts more pressure on him to sell. If we bring in a few has beens and young uns it wont change to much other than taking a bit of pressure off not being able to full fill fixtures once injuries kick in.

A must listen (it's a short clip don't worry)

Didnt go down at HT. saw plenty going down before the half finished, i was thinking had they just fallen back into normal habits and also an excuse to miss 5-10 mins of the game either side of HT -

On Saturday it was interesting talking to different people. Most were anti Chansiri saying he has to go etc but in the next breath it was 4th from bottom will do. Bring in a few frees and will be ok (Mee , Cooper) Did well at Leicester and Bolton play young uns. I tried to get it in that its going to be a total train wreck but they were not having it. I do think a lot of it is that ST have been paid for , kids, families just want to go and have the nomality of supporting the team. Every game more and more will drop off. Opening game and them across the city are the 2 that will draw them in. -

100% it will. week by week the penny with either drop or people will just get bored of losing and start making excuses not to go even if they arnt not going as a protest. . Imagine 22nd Oct a Wednesday night game Boro 8pm kick off …when it will be cold. The lowest crowd for a very very long time. -
Is this starting to play out nicely for Chansiri?

I would estimate less than 3K renewals should he still be the owner by ST renewal time. Even the “its good to see the young uns play” will get fed up of the heavy defeats that are coming quite quickly. -
I think most were starting to get fed up. Give a kid a whistle and thats what happens
-
Yeh wasnt great viewing. escalated quickly. Young lad was enjoying the whistle. Was asked to pipe down from behind. Kid dad flipped, then young kids trying to hold him back while he tried to get to the ones asking them to stop. all a bit weird and sad. Saw a few kids looking shocked and in tears. Assuming the frustration of the last few months have got to people. stewards strolled up a good 5 mins after this had started.

As good a chance as anyone else who has been mentioned to date.

Not saying he should start. But he was the standout player for me. So comfortable with the ball at his feet. Made the simple passes. Good awareness and turned well on the ball. Never seen him ay before. Really impressive display. Like many of them last night tbf. But he caught my eye.

Big opportunity for the Trust - BOYCOTT LEEDS
rawowl replied to alanharper's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Some are looking at this like its a masterstroke by the club to fast track youth players into the first team They were superb last night and on Sunday considering the Shizzle show going off around them. BUT its the bigger picture that needs to be looked at. the players not getting paid the staff not getting paid Fans mental health while this is all going on the future of the club. feeding Chansiri additional cash so you can clap the young lads is such a short sighted view. those who go to the Leeds game have a good look at that pic.
