  1. "Exceptional circumstances" and they don't want this to set a precedent... So basically if enough money is thrown at it, all the big clubs will want to go ahead with it too. One step closer to the super League
  2. I reckon Stevie G will be back there but I'm not sure he will do much, better than Martin though.
  3. He's got his bag, looks like he's packed up.
  4. Not really going so swimmingly for Gassama is it? Set off like a train in the Euro Fixtures but not done much in the league. Not gloating, I wish him well and it's not his fault for his departure but I couldn't stand seeing the pigs post and gloat on SM every time he scored a goal. Mind you, they are very quiet at the moment.
  5. Yeah I remember Forest, think they were bottom 3 around Christmas? The Play offs are not that hard to get into as that last place can sometimes be easily in reach. 3 or 4 wins on the bounce and you're back in contention. The good news is the pigs are struggling to get one win, nevermind 3 or 4 in a row.
  6. I wonder if the Isak signing was the wrong one for Liverpool. He's a fantastic signing but did they need him? So far Ekitike has looked more than good enough. It's a long season but they are going to have to choose between the two of them unless they try shoehorn one out wide. Chelsea were brilliant today though. Really impressed with them
  7. Wouldn't that clause still be in place though? Will have been agreed as an organisation owned by MM which will likely be passed down to family rather than just owed to MM directly.
  8. Wow did not expect this news. He was only on the radio talking about us not too long back. RIP Milan.
  9. Did they play loads better again, but lose, again? So far up Wilders arse they can't see past the fact he's a busted flush.
  10. He's a funny sausage. "I just tried to nonchalantly tried to kick it back where it came from" You can see in his face that he clearly hit it with force, not calmly at all. Idiot.
  11. But we've done that (failed to play clubs for players), failed to pay wages on numerous occasions, failed to satisfy to the league that we can survive the season financially. The list goes on. I honestly don't see the argument about United here.
  12. Yep if it's going to happen if rather it be now. Some fans are still holding onto hope that we can stay up. Get it done and continue the push on DC. Currently he's going nowhere.
  13. They are so invested in Wilder it's laughable. "We look so much better" is a comment I have been banded about. After another home defeat against a team also struggling for form. If Selles was still there they'd be going mental.
  14. Not all is well at Soton. Heard the players are not fond of Will Still. I honestly expected both them and Ipswich to be up there and tearing the league apart this season. It's wide open this year and a massive shame we can't take advantage of it.
  15. 0 shots on target first half. But Wilder has made them better.
  16. Sorry, my comment was tongue in cheek, basically hitting out at them for refusing to boycott. Some folk are just delusional. We need to do this together and properly. Not half arsed. Would love to see a joke game with about 20 home fans there (would never get 0!). Imagine if we could get a massive pop up screen on Hillsborough park for a televised home game, get all the fans in the park instead of the ground.
  17. Why are they refusing to boycott?
  18. I'm thinking they will get playoffs. Top 6 isn't that difficult, especially the 5th and 6th place - I mean even we managed to flirt with them for a short period last season. All depends on the players, I refuse to believe Selles was "that bad" and it was more player power than anything. Some of them look like they just don't want to be there, so it will depend on Wilder getting them back on side. January isn't too far away either, he'll probably get a couple of his type of players through the door.
  19. Sorry but for me, fair play/sportsmanship went out of the window when people start applauding players for "winning a freekick" etc by sticking their leg out, putting their body in a position to be bundled over. It's very unfortunate for the lad who got injured, especially in the position it happened that ended up leading to a goal but I don't think we should have kicked the ball out of play. If that's the case players/managers/coaching team will start using this to their advantage in games. Football has fast become a cheats game and use any tactic to win a game, this would only get abused by some.
  20. I read this around the time he was benched in Selles last game, so maybe has some substance to it.
  21. They literally all poured back into the stands for his homecoming Some are also trying their best to say the performance was loads better!
  22. There's no way they can stay this crap all season and I expect them to push up the table at some point, but in reality is top 2 out of reach already? I expected Ipswich and Soton to be doing better than they are, I think it could be a very competitive league this year compared to last season.
  23. Is he a relation of Nicky Weaver? Sorry if already asked, just had a scan through the thread and didn't see anything.
