  1. Hypothetical question. Let’s say the club didn’t sell any away tickets. Do you think the home club would leave a vast empty space. Or fill it with their own fans where the demand exists? I think the latter and no casual observer would even notice an ‘empty’ away end.
  2. Your right technically yes. Personally I feel I am doing plenty to offset the £1.62 (minus VAT and policing costs) he will have made from me going to Birmingham for example.
  3. Battle weary……Jesus wept. Like it’s not impacting us all. I’ve been going away, I’ll continue to do so. If the trust coordinate an away boycott (as per the Boro home game) I’ll happily join. But nobody can tell me that any of the home protests have come close to the away demonstrations at Leicester, Wrexham or Pompy with the exception of the 50 on the pitch on Saturday. The big difference between the home and away fans is we are largely unified away from home. At home it’s a sniping mess of people who all have different views and won’t come together. Away we pull together. I’ve made my sacrifices and deprived him of plenty of funds, shirts, cup games and I’ll add my season ticket of 27 years to that total. What’s making people ‘battle weary’ is the constant jabs at groups we don’t agree with.
  4. Again, I agree mate, and I don’t personally spend. But I can’t say I particularly agree with all the social media posts and ‘look at these C#*+s’ type name callings accompanied by photos.
  5. I agree. But football is quite different to many industries. If you went to a restaurant and the food was rubbish you wouldn’t go back. If the owner was an idiot you wouldn’t go back. But with football we all tolerate way more than we should. The fact 17,000-19,000 renew every season speaks volumes to that. My point is on January 2nd nobody could have predicted what was to come in such a short space of time.
  6. I don’t agree with the photo taking. But I’d say it’s fair to question why somebody in a protest scarf needs to spend inside the ground. If it’s done in the right way.
  7. We first missed payment to players in 2019. You could call that a sign. But still renewed. I renewed on January 2nd. We were 9th on 36 points. 3pts off 6th. Most of us were hopeful a good window with a modest investment might sneak us into the top 6. We can talk about ‘signs’ as far back as 2016 if you like. The point is nothing was anywhere near what came from March onwards.
  8. It really isn’t the same. As has been said a million times, the season ticket money was paid in January. Way before Chansiri hit the self destruct button. People renewing now would be double standards yes.
  9. Might be somewhat confrontational. But maybe those who keep buying could be handed specific flyers relating to why we are not spending in the ground at halftime while they queue/drink up, might cause a few to re-think their stance or shame a couple into stopping.
  10. Simple style of football. Be direct, be solid, be hard to beat. We were none of those things against Bristol City, we were all of them yesterday. We don’t have the players to go toe to toe with teams in a technical game. Let’s try and make it horrible and out work teams.
  11. all of which are just assumptions…….
  12. Agree with this 100% I thought it was an excellent performance and it’s the most I’ve enjoyed an England game for a long time.
  13. Reda Johnson was rubbish but gets talked about like some kind of legend. A better manager than Carlos would have got us promoted second season. We’d be in a worse position then we are now if Chansiri took us up and had access to all that money.
  14. I don’t know how anybody could be out of the loop at this stage. Imagine the chats. ’ooooh I wonder where that Josh Windass fella went, surprised we got no money for him’ ’It’s strange how all our fans were late to Leicester, traffic must have been appalling’ ’service at the ground must have got way better this season, I can get served at halftime and there’s never any queues’ I’m afraid it’s clear if they aren’t on board at this point they’ll keep going until we go bust.
