  1. I completely disagree. The squad has been intentionally skewered by the previous owner. A competent owner gets us out of league one without a problem in a couple of years. We are miles off it but a good Summer changes everything; especially with the optimism of a new owner.
  2. He's been playing international football and then playing out of position. He's completely beasted.
  3. Yep he's slow but is an organiser. Needs better players with him. Lowe has been awful today.
  4. Cooper looks decent to say he's not played for months. Very good in the air.
  5. Playing terrible but this ref is appalling. Seems to give niggly tackles one way but not the other.
  6. Just no pace as an outlet so you are reliant on set plays to get a goal. It's almost impossible for us to get further up the pitch as we don't have anyone in the squad who can stretch the opposition. Lost that when Gassama and Musaba left.
  7. We will end up with 6/7 imo. I still maintain someone can buy and spend 100-150 million total and get the foundations in place for a bright future (namely first team and youth team infrastructure and investment). Someone may want to push on even further as they are at Birmingham but I think you can be competitive in the Championship with a good structure. We are seeing as such with Preston this season. Exciting times
  8. Agreed. I still think maintaining a fantastic relationship with Premier youth teams (Pederson seems to have this) and being a place for these players to come sprinkled with some strong free transfers is the way to go. Amass is costing us nothing and he's fantastic. Various other examples too. Those released or surplus in youth set ups are also a genuine option for us. Both Gassama and Musaba have brought us in money for one of the first times in years (despite this been under market value). I completely agree that we should focus on infrastructure improvements while we have the sanctions and look to build a strong base for the long term future of the club.
  9. Very interesting! Thanks for posting. My numbers are conservative based upon an average season ticket price and the rumours amount sold.
  10. Yep. Chansiri spent the best part of 6.5 million season ticket funds before a ball was kicked.
  11. A guy who is representing a specific party is not going to go on national media and say it will be a piece of ******** and we are potentially a cash cow. He's playing the PR game nicely. Will be hoping to seed doubt into other potential buyers minds as to he severity of the job. Make no bones about it there's not many better opportunities right now. Perhaps Derby would be similar but I imagine the acquisition cost is far higher.
  12. Some honourable mentions. Glenn Loovens Ross Wallace Keiren Westwood All cracking free transfers.
  13. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34107917 Bannan was technically undisclosed. Unbelievable really and that we only had to offer him an initial 1 year deal.
  14. Would be interesting if we could secure him for 6 months or so with an option when we go into League One. Could be an experienced option like last time with Marvin Johnson.
  15. Wasn't there a suggestion from Alan Biggs we may be able to revisit the loan deals we had lined up for the young Premier guys? I assumed he was referring to in January but his wording suggested these may be allowed under the emergency terms? Seems like a stretch?
  16. Two key points for me: KW then requested questions from attendees. JW asked about the specifics of the £50 million proof of funding, with KW saying that the evidence from all 11 parties came from a letter from their bank, lawyer or a ‘big four company’ who represents them, which confirmed that sufficient liquid cash was immediately available to buy SWFC. -------------------------------------------------------- KW then explained that he has told all prospective buyers that, in order to pay all creditors 25p to the pound, they will need to purchase the club for a figure in the region of £30 million. This combined valuation will include Hillsborough to pay off New Avenue Projects and secured loans that are associated with the stadium, as well as expenses from the administration process.
  17. In the latter years; especially the past two seasons I would say so. 6.5 million in season ticket sales for this season completely gone and he's left us still with huge payments for previous transfers. You've got to ask where the money has gone.
  18. I would genuinely like to see it too. I'd love to ask the questions, even in written format and read his responses. He's essentially had no money for years and tried to put it back on the fans. Absolute fraud.
  19. Andy Rinomhota signed for Reading again. Confirmed today.
  20. Not only was Chansiri the worst owner in history but he was also a compulsive liar. We've managed to pay the debts owed while in Administration with a combination of the loan from the wealthy fan and our contributions in ticket sales etc. He's essentially paid nothing for years and squirrelled the money away. Given our significantly reduced wage bill we'd be profitable this year if you take into account the 6+ million he's already spent from this year's season ticket sales. An absolute con man. I cannot believe the lengths he went to while still maintaining our contributions were nothing. Absolute generation wealth man child.
  21. George Pușcaș. He's a free agent and has played in the Championship previously. Not hugely prolific but could give us another option up front. Ugbo looks miles off it.
