  1. One of the reasons I didn't get a 10 year season ticket when they went on Sale a few seasons back was I didn't trust way Chansiri was running the club and my money was not guaranteed if we went into Administration. Only got 1 year at a time since. Although won't be renewing this time if Chansiri still in charge.
  2. I am 99% sure me boycotting the Middlesborough game will make no difference. But I am 100% sure me going will make no difference. Just feel a bit better making a bit of a stand and my empty seat feel like a two fingered salute to Chansiris ego trip and the way he has ran the club into the ground.
  3. I am 50 and I don't expect to see Sheffield Wednesday back in the top division in my lifetime.
  4. The Owners and Lawyers the People the football regulator will be up against will be on lot more that £130k.
  5. Think Balaclavas would make a future pitch invasion seem a lot more sinister.
  6. I would put Bruce in same bracket at Tony Pulis and Mick Mccarthy. Had good managerial careers, were good at getting a punch of average players organised and getting best out of them. But they time has come and gone now and they all seem a bit dated.
  7. Just speaking for myself I hope the empty seats (Which will ironically spell out CHANSIRI) will register our disgust at the way the club is being run. They is a good chance it wont make a difference but feel better for giving him a two finger salute of rows and rows of empty seats.
  8. They will be about 5-10K who will still go, you can see that from how many went v Grimsby. We will just have to accept it. I dont like the idea of publicly shaming fans renewing season tickets, I disagree with them while ever Chansiri is in charge but they have not committed a crime or don't anything immoral.
  9. Obviously will be people who will still go. Seen people on Facebook saying they will still be going 'To support the Team' and already got face on because they are going to get some stick. Think if 50% of season ticket holders dont turn up we can call it a success.
  10. I mean a boycott of every game. The Middlesborough game is a good one to choose for a boycott. Mid week, on TV, little chance of getting a result.
  11. I dont think the Trust to be too militant and alienate a lot of people by calling for a total boycott of even season ticket holders. Difficult enough as it is getting people not to buy a pie and a pint in the ground.
  12. I can see the argument that players should strike if not getting paid. Please correct me if I am wrong but believe the players are guaranteed they wages , although obviously not on time.
  13. Really dislike paying for something and not getting it. I am a bit torn on the Middlesborough game but a protest is only really a protest if you sacrifice something. If the Trust have called to Boycott the Middlesborough game I will stay at home.
  14. Well done. Hope if you get a fine we can have a bit of a whip round to pay it.
  15. If they get fined we can always crowd fund to pay it off but a plaque seems b it OTT.
  16. I saw this from my seat on the North and thought it was a good thing. Over zealous stewards and police always gets the crowd going
  17. I bet Chansiri is still sleeping on silky sheets, eating in posh restaurants and being chauffeur driven about all while ordinary working class people go without wages at Hillsborough. Man has no shame.
  18. You could hear a few chuckles around me when the official attendance went up. Would say about 16,000 including away fans.
  19. Well done to those that went on the pitch today.
  20. A bit of a foot note on the day but yes a really poor decision by the officials.
  21. Think for a pitch invasion to happen the fans need to be more angry. Results and performances have bee better than expected so far so its too an edge off. I know we cant wish it to happen but it might be better if we were losing 4 or 5 nil every week to focus peoples minds about the situation at the club.
  22. Seen a few bits one social media about a pitch invasion tomorrow 10 mins into the game. The authorities must have seen these so will have extra precautions tomorrow, or you would think so at least. With that and the bad weather forecast I would be surprised if anyone gets on the pitch.
  23. I think 99% of what the Trust has done has been excellent. But as a fan base I think the protests have been slightly half hearted. If you could have told me 5 years ago what was going to happen I would have predicted a lot more anger and toxic atmosphere at games. The atmosphere is more apathetic than angry.
  24. In the present circumstances I wouldnt have a go at the players no matter what happens on Saturday. But if we lose but it's been a competitive game than its moral victory of sorts for the team.
