Don’t get me wrong - I’d like to think it’s achievable and there’s nothing wrong with setting ambitious targets. I just think once the initial euphoria of Chansiri’s exit dies down and we’re into winter games while marooned at the foot of the table, 30000 at every game will be a tall order Of course what could alter that is if an exciting new owner is announced before Christmas and we’re able to sign some players in January - that could keep the optimism running high.

So based on the stats on here we’ve sold over 3000 tickets between 3pm Monday and 11am Wednesday. 7 of those are mine. I mean if we continue at that rate there’ll only be a few hundred tickets dotted around the ground by the end of this week. The ‘man’ is an absolute weasel. I can almost forgive the lack of football knowledge, the funds drying up, the occasional rant…. But the total derogation of any responsibility to his staff and the fans, the absence of any communication and the disregard shown toward the reputation of the 150-year old institution of which he is a custodian… it’s pathetic.
