Alright, Owls!
Been lurking on OwlsTalk forever, now finally piping up. Born Wednesdayite, blue and white in my veins, but I’m an M&A professional, so I’m trying to stay sane in this utter shambles.
Textor’s takeover talk with Keith Harris has us dreaming—Eagle Football could be our lifeline. Chansiri’s £100m+ price is bonkers; experts say £40-70m, with Hillsborough’s dodgy ownership a deal-killer. In M&A, deals this size take 3-4 months, longer with skeletons like ours—NDA’s probably hiding a bid from months back.
Something’s cooking: Pierce Charles, our £10m star after those Bolton pen saves, had bids turned down—not just Chansiri’s greed, maybe a new owner’s say?
North Stand’s open with no work done, and we’re linked to proper loans we’ve not seen in ages. Chansiri’s gone dead quiet—him, who’s always mouthing off! Legal gag from EFL charges or a deal, I reckon.
Needs £150-200m to fix debts, stadium, and squad for a Prem push over 2 years (survival this season dependent!) Textor’s loans might trim it, but Lyon’s a worry. Chansiri out, let’s get Hillsborough bouncing! WAWAW!
