Your team vs Sheffield United …

Yes you are correct about the duration since last game, i got that wrong. My bad. Think we’ll have to agree to disagree on this. I don’t think he’ll be risked due to lack of game time / match fitness. Looking forward to him been involved though as I thought his interview was great & showed him as a great professional. Spoke to a Leeds fan at work who couldn’t speak highly enough of him. Hopefully he still got miles left in tank at this level. No worries around League 1, he’ll be unreal in that league next season. -

A Goalkeeper's match fitness is different to an outfield player. I'd maybe give Cooper 20 mins to build up fitness in the next couple of games and maybe involvement with the U21's. He hasn't played competitive football in over 6 months its a massive risk to throw him into a physical derby game. Plus is there a need to throw him in? The back 3 who are likely to start are season professionals and as far as I am aware aren't struggling with injuries so not like we are desperate for him to be involved straight away. For me our issues are at the other end of the pitch and lack of goals and creativity at the minute. -

Horvath fusire Palmer Iorfa Lowe Amass Valery Baz Svante Ugbo / Lowe Cadz No Cooper, not match fit. Be mad to play him and risk injury. People suggesting Charles is fit, if so then him as GK. -
Sorry, wouldn’t let me edit, obvs meant Pre Game, rather than post game. Still half asleep.

Get some sleep wiggy, we need you on top form & full of energy to seduce some Multi Billionaire for us. In all seriousness, thank you for the communication provided by yourself & PS, breath of fresh air. Greatly appreciated & provides real peace of mind but also very educational to all us Wednesday fans. Ps, well up for post game songs to be We are the Owls, then singing the blues, followed by Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday week in week out.

Good luck with those who pull together a Phoenix club, I wish them all the success. For me though it's Sheffield Wednesday or nothing. Its all i've known since been a kid. Its going to by Nan & Grandads as a little lad watching video tapes of 90/91 season rumbelows cup video special following the team round London, its every season review up to early 2000's rewatched constantly in kids holidays. It's Cardiff, Wembley heartbreak and joy. Collecting signatures of my favourite players as a young lad in my autograph book It's beating grunter to league 1 promotion. Its going my grandads before each game for chippy dinner and getting a lift down to herries road from him. Its them good old nights under lights in recent years against Arsenal, Brighton & Peterborough spring to mind. Efan Ekoku header vs Pigs in League cup First memories of Hillsborough seeing Owen hattrick & 3-3 draw with Liverpool Road trip to dundee for the preseason discovery cup. Away days with Dad & Uncle to MK Don's at Hockey Ground & pitch invasions when we scored Bristol City away and 4-1 win, Proudlock looking like prime messy. The list could go on. I appreciate these are all modern day histories in comparison to other's memories but I don't have those emotional connections with any other clubs and cannot bring myself to follow a Phoenix club cause its won't have the above. Only thing which might make me follow them is if my young kids say Dad I want to follow them and if I can create the memories I have connected to Sheffield Wednesday for them with a Phoenix club. But I hope to god I can pass down Sheffield Wednesday Football club to my Son & Daughter. And tell them the stories I have with my Granddad, Dad, Auntie, Uncle & Brother and it be about a club which still is in existence. My worry is it wont be. -

Unfortunately i don’t see this ending in Admin. The cancer has had enough chances to sell the club already, if he wanted to he would have. He’s a narcissist and my view is the below. We’ve asked him to go and slated him in public, he’s disgusted by this & due to his personality needs to have the last laugh. He’s cut costs, now he’s just torturing those who have questioned him and his wacky decisions. By enduring us to the worst period in our clubs history. I think he winds the club up or aims for liquidation. Why? Cause he is a c*nt! This makes more sense than what he is currently doing if he was genuinely trying to sell in my mind. Sorry for such a negative post. I’ve always believed a takeover was in the offing with what i’d heard & stuff i’d read on here. But that positivity has disappeared in recent weeks. Nothing makes senses other than he is enjoying punishing customers for questioning his backwards ways. The social media posts from the cancerous family show this as surely someone would say lets dial it back given the situation at Wednesday? F*ck Chansiri and f*ck his family. The backwards set of c*nts. -
He’s a luxury player, a goal poacher. He’s playing in a team which is mid table league 1 team at best. Remember the start of the season, we all gave players and staff free pass because of the cancer that is leading us. Nothing has got better on that front, its got worse. Imagine been a striker who relies on chances and is bereft of confidence and service. Not sure what you are expecting? He never been a centre forward who’s worked his testicles off. what i will say is i’m defending him for this season, last season wasn’t acceptable as the situation was different. But i can totally understand his current situation without even knowing his personality. I would go a far as he is a poacher who relies on chances and confidence in himself. He getting no chance and confidence is rock bottom. At this moment in time your anger & frustration needs to be aimed at 1 man. The person who is holding the club ransom, unable to and not paying staff. The person who is likely to see this club go out of existence.

Lets hope we see a takeover of club & ground before Admin becomes a reality. Hopefully winding up petition forces Chansiri to accept a bid which straight away removes the threat of admin due to cash injection from new owners. I personally don’t think he will, i can see him selling the club. Trying to keep the ground for ‘income’ to claw money back. I genuinely think we won’t need a Phoenix club but I do see a situation like Coventry’s, in which we don’t play home games at Hillsborough if he holds onto the ground and tries to charge crazy rent. -
I suspect it means play the ball forward rather than sideways and backwards. Most clubs try to play football the correct way but sometimes lack any penetration with their passing, often going sideways and nowhere. play vertically with quality, probably encouraging the players to look for forward pass but only when its on, rather than a hopeful punt.
-
Would love to see at the end of the game no matter the result the fans to salute professional staff & players. i’d also be interested to see if black and gold scarfs were thrown onto the pitch would some of the players pick them up & raise them in protest against Chansiri? For me that would be a powerful message that enough is enough.
