  1. Would love to see at the end of the game no matter the result the fans to salute professional staff & players. i’d also be interested to see if black and gold scarfs were thrown onto the pitch would some of the players pick them up & raise them in protest against Chansiri? For me that would be a powerful message that enough is enough.
  2. More might come out from Barry, I suspect he isn't a very happy man, along with a large percentage of other SWFC employees Signed a £7k short term deal with the expectance that once all sorted a new deal that would match previous expired deal. All these lads who didn't hand their notice in / plus Pedersen's 3 year deal. Did they all agree to stay on with promise that something was around the corner? I cannot imagine these people would have stayed around knowing we'd be almost in October 2025 with no real prospect of a takeover, no prospect of a bright future and the current owner uncontactable whilst he fights off African locals from pinching his bounty of gold.
  3. From seeing him since he made his debut, personally if we hadn’t be short of players in his position he wouldn’t be anywhere near the first team. As someone else eluded to, will probably have a solid career in lower leagues of football. This season will definitely harm his development, confidence will be shot by time reinforcements come in.
  4. You beat me to it, just watch the highlights. Looks like a good players, hopefully we can sell Cad urr mar terry for £2mil & keep to main man!
  5. I’m excited about this, City leading the way in many things. Their coaches will have had some unreal training & had to buy into a modern day philosophy of football (the pep way) Could be a great opportunity for mudd & wednesday. We don’t often poach coaches from leading academies.
  6. Almost like those fans who jump on bandwagon having a pop at other fans every time the opportunity presents itself.
  7. I would be shocked if he went to Utd. Not because of loyalty to Wednesday but the way the new Utd owners want to do things. Aren’t they’re signings now data driven with no manager input. Isn’t this why Wilder left? I appreciate Röhl is data driven guy, but pretty sure he’d still want input in signings. My understanding is they want a head coach to improve the players they sign.
  8. Sorry, what point are you trying to make?
  9. Agree, but contractually shouldn’t Röhl have returned for pre-season on the first day? Or at least been present at St George’s Park? Like i’ve said before, huge Röhl fan, most progressive manager i’ve seen at Wednesday. Agree with his decision to leave i’d have done the same given the circumstance but he could have done it better in terms of not going AWOL for first couple of weeks of preseason.
  10. Can i just say not a Röhl critic, was a huge fan of his work & would have loved for him to stay. Circumstances made that impossible for him. If desperate to leave & rightly so he wanted to get out and work at a good club why not resign?
  11. It isn’t in the article regarding the legal advice he had to return to work to force payout, but i’ve heard it from a friend who has a friend within the club. If Röhl was so desperate to leave why not resign? Instead he missed the first 2 weeks of pre season, then rocked up when Pedersen was appointed to force Chansiri to pay him out? No way defending Chansiri, he should have let him go when offers were coming in. Like i said previous, it has left a bitter taste in my mouth and for me tarnished the great work Röhl did in the 18 months he was with us. He could have handled his exit better.
  12. A good read, need more ex employees to come out and speak up about chansiri to put further pressure on him and his backwards ways. It clearly was a matter of time before Röhl left the club due to financial issues. Whilst Chansiri could have dealt with the situation much better & agreed compo with a club rather than paying him out. It doesn’t sit right with me how Röhl went about his summer business. Left a bitter taste in my mouth as I loved what he’d done for Wednesday. Fact of the matter is Röhl refused to return for 2 weeks, hampering pre-season & only returned so Chansiri couldn’t sack him and had to pay him off. This was the legal advice he was given and happily followed through with it which further impact late wages for ordinary people.
  13. Great effort, proud to be a wednesday fan.
  14. I hope HP gets the time he deserves to rebuild. Only positives said about him in articles i’ve read. By all accounts we are lucky to have a talented coach who cares about wednesday & bought into the city and the people.
