Was saying similar to a mate last night. Best 11 has a fighting chance and certainly cant fault the effort from players so far. But yeah, injuries are inevitable along with the odd suspension. My biggest worry with such a thin squad, is players getting completely knackered from workload every few days and that lack of rotation option eventually catching up with 'em. We have a strong-ish first 11, maybe strong enough to stay up - Not convinced on that unfortunately, dont think we've enough up top. Cadz looks willing but isnt worrying keepers too often, JLo is a 1 a month lad & Brown can't be expected to shoulder burden. Personally think its a bit rich to expect/demand the players take public action against there employer, Ive little doubt they're justifiably thoroughly fed up, but they are contracted employees and such action could have far reaching consequences to their personal situation. Especially when considering , 'the fans have done their bit' statement !?, id argue that claim, still turning up in their thousands, looked to be a few more on Saturday than previously , if fans cant be arsed with a complete matchday boycott why should players put themselves in a potentially job affecting situation and go beyond??
