  1. If anyone at the club reads this.... Can we PLEEEEASE get rid of that godawful thrash metal music that is played as the players come out for the 2nd half?? It is so loud and distorted that it makes the P. A. system (which is on it's last legs anyway) sound like it's about to drop out of the roof on the kop. It rouses nobody and has no connection to the club. For the Peterborough 2nd half, 'Hi-Ho' was played and it got the crowd up again. Please do something like this again, or TC's 'Singing The Blues' - that would be perfect for the derby this Sunday!!
  2. Would make my day if they actually did something about that for once.
  3. Our previous owner, and anything remotely dynamic, have no business being mentioned in the same sentence...
  4. Now that really WOULD be Virtual Reality...
  5. You back again then are you for some more glass half empty diatribe? You need to change the 'd' in your username to a 'g'. That would be much more apt. Cannot stand folk like you who just want to pee on everyone's chips and continue to try and manipulate more negative comments even after being called out as factually incorrect on the actual issue of the thread in question. I bet you're a right laugh at Christmas.
  6. Another more pertinent point to make, is that you have still not acknowledged that your simple maths are wrong. This from someone who likes to deal with fact and 'cut through the bullcrap'.....
  7. Let's stick to facts then, and maintain an uncanny knack to see through the bull crap, because 17-18k have already paid for season tickets so can be eliminated from the grossly over inflated figures you have quoted. The difference is far closer, and it is also about riding the wave of good feeling. and using the opportunity to get people back in the habit of attending, so that they continue to POTG during the next few cold months.
  8. Oh do give up. You're just being intentionally negative & controversial for attention.
  9. Wow. I bet you're the life and soul of a party..... Its easy to criticise anything from afar though isn't it?
  10. I would add that I still thought it was a good atmosphere. I enjoyed the singing on the kop instead of the protest chants. It was great to fel a bit more normal again, and feel the buzz of happiness from the crowd.
  11. That was never going to happen. This was a bottom of the table league game, for which we are certs to be relegated, and the season still has more than half of it yet to play out. Peterborough was a one off 'knockout' with real jeopardy involved. There was a prize on offer for a result in that one single game. ALWAYS going to get special atmospheres in games like that, over most league games.
  12. Andy Pearce. We had some great defenders that preceded this signing (Pearson, Shirtliff, Anderson, Walker, yours truly) and it was a big red flag for the quality to come as our mid 90's decline slowly commenced.
  13. Keep trying to log in with my usual details but it's saying 'invalid email or password'. Pressing the 'reset password' should result in a an email to reset, but I'm not getting that either. Is anyone experiencing the same?
  14. I was Hunting high and low for the correct Kop number too
  15. Just tuned in on the car radio. What's the kit issue? Are we in home kit? If so then that's weird because there was an official club news item earlier this week clearly stating we would be in the 2nd strip away kit for the first time this season.
  16. Mate I had a hip op last week so not very mobile, but if she was in the Megastore, I'd be walking there on my crutches right now from chesterfield
  17. Just confirmed himself to be the clown that we already knew!
  18. Great interview on sky sports just now with Jamal at the signing session in the Megastore. Place looks like it's buzzing Great words from Jamal too, and you can sense the relief from the players that some clarity has been given to all staff.
  19. I think the likely answer is that NAP called in the loan to S3. Once this happened, he ran out of rope.
  20. Glad you, and many others, were wrong! It was pretty obvious the end game was playing out behind the scenes. HMRC were tightening the noose around DC's neck. Creditors were not going to let liquidation happen. It was either DC finally realises he has to put the club into administration or a creditor would have done it for him.
  21. https://www.swfc.co.uk/news/2025/october/24/a-message-from-henrik/ A call to arms for all Wednesdayites. Great guy. Just the right tone. Bring on Oxford!
  22. Gutted I had a hip replacement this week so can't go to the game tomorrow. Should be some atmosphere!!
