  1. I agree. I have to explain to my 5 year old why I won’t buy food and drink and he gets it. making a stand and protesting may come at some inconvenience (sacrificing food and tradition etc) but have to think of the long term objective.
  2. Saw a few on the south, at half time, wearing a scarf but yet had a pint in their hand. just don’t understand it
  3. Drawing 2-2 at home against 9 men, Yeovil Town. Irvine days
  4. Halifax told me the same. I think they were thinking we might not field a team hence a stronger argument? It’s likely we are going to but with a significantly depleted squad. they also said they would try to get the money back from SWFC first. But as I understand it, under s75, they are jointly responsible so if they can’t, it could be the bank stumping up the refund. never issued a s.75 claim so don’t know how it works in practice (I.e. surely if they can’t get from the provider do they just say, no grounds because the alternative is they have to refund?)
  5. It would be interesting to test that though. Don’t know how far a misrepresentation argument could go, especially with the photo used to advertise season tickets (only one/two players still there) and the exceptional circumstances of not paying players/ notices/ HMRC/ North stand.
  6. They said it would be on the lack of service/quality. Tbf that was before players started leaving etc so they may change their view now. I’ll try them again
  7. What bank is that with (if you don’t mind saying) I asked mine (Halifax) their advice was you have one shot at it and it’s best to wait until the start of the season.
  8. Personally, after a 10 year hiatus of having a season ticket, I bought one for this season (in Jan) as my 6 year old wants to go. I’ll be seeking a refund as no way do I want to fund him when there is little/no evidence he is selling and getting on with it. The club has unravelled since the new year. How else can we get the message across other than refunds when nothing else seems to be cutting through. The amount of damage being done to the club and future fan base is ridiculous. Unless we do something different then it won’t change.
