I don’t think it needs to be open every day, just the weekends. If they could screen the away day matches it’d work but I think copyright laws prevent that, but even if they didn’t they’d probably make money from fans leaving the game or people coming back on coaches from the away game.

Danny had managed the great escape in year 1 and consolidated us in year 2. With a somewhat competent running of the club we would have been challenging for the play-offs this year, but we all know why we’re relegation certainties instead don’t we?

Me and my best mate thought we’d pop down to the ground earlier. I’d imagine it totally depends on a player’s personality. Some will be up for it, others wil wilt in a big atmosphere and vice versa.

It’s nice to have a local player whose come from the academy and worked their way through but I’d rather have the best team we can field over what’s on their passport personally. As others have said we are so are behind other local teams’ academy status and their ability to take the best talent from the local area, so following bilbao is unrealistic. Better off looking at Brentford/Brighton for inspiration.

Another idea: what if they released an ensemble version of Hi Ho Sheffield Wednesday? it could be our version of Perfect Day or Don’t they know it’s Christmas time at all, plus having people pop into a recording booth somewhere in the world to record a verse and edit it together is a lot easier now that it was back in the 80s with today’s technology. the only downside is that songs don’t make as much money as they used to with Spotify etc.
