  1. Top result and top performance in these grim and dark circumstances. Well done lads.
  2. Wasn’t there some noise about the thorn bridge guy’s wife skanking taxpayers a few years ago if my memory serves me right. Have I got the right guy please? the pub in Leeds in bankers cat…. Great choice of beers but expensive. Expect the new place on fargate to be same set up.
  3. Jordan actually retired from proper football when he refused to take the penalty against his favoured club… Huddersfield. Bottler pure and simple!
  4. Not me… not this time. Conned badly last Xmas!
  5. What you say is bad. When DC came to the club 10 years ago he gave an assurance that he would get SWFC out of the Championship. He's fulfilled his promise once already, and he's about to do it again. A Promise made, and a Promise kept! Too many bad customers have infiltrated this site.
  6. Up to individuals to make their own choices but there is NO way that I'll be renewing my Season Ticket at the current crazy prices if we are destined for League 1 next season. NO way at all, and I'm sure that DC is not sufficiently loony to expect that people would! Or is he?
  7. Wearing of hard hats… brilliant idea. Elements of protest, sarcasm, and also essential personal safety.
  8. Do these players actually and really need sock tape. Can they not manage without for a season or 2? Sounds like they've traditionally been a bit pampered if you ask me... we never needed sock tape for our kickabouts on the BoleHills. Would the money saved on sock tape not be better invested in a 3rd Lucky Golden Elephant at the South Stand entrance?
  9. Not sure that the proverbial glass is ever half-empty or half-full. What I do know is that we cannot pay for the glass.
  10. Well Done Jamal... best piece of info that's come out of SWFC in weeks. Where is this going to end please? The Club is skint, players on strike, staff unpaid, dangerous ground. WTF is actually happening here? I wish that the Players would strike for Leicester... that would generate massive publicity, and show to those with any interest that Chanshitshow is a moronic and imbecilic scumbag!
  11. Hillsborough Stadium's falling down... falling down, falling down Hillsborough Stadium's falling down... Chansiri is a ********
  12. Returning to the subject of refunds - which I’m not wanting for myself - I had a really interesting chat with a Solicitor yesterday who I should stress is not qualified in Contract Law. She made 3 points though… 1… SWFC do not seem to be in breach of contract provided they actually provide a ticket per the T and C’s. 2… a County Court claim might succeed on the basis that a breach of a principle known as custom and practice exists. This may work given that transfer embargo’s exist since the ticket was bought, thus preventing the club making new signings as is traditionally done pre-season. 3… loss of trust and confidence. This is arguable as DC did - according to last year’s accounts - give an undertaking to Auditors that he would continue to fund the club until end-June 2025. Clearly he is in breach of this obligation given that players, staff, and tax men have not been paid. What she also said is that anyone motivated to seek a refund must not use the ticket or this would be deemed to be what she called an affirmation of the contract between SWFC and the ticket-holder. Hope this makes sense.
  13. For me, Waddles goal against the piggies in the semi in 1993. We were sat in the Olympic Gallery directly opposite the goal…. What a view, what a goal, what a player. Let us hope and pray that DC will Phuket off back to his hole in Thailand and that someone can bring the good times back for us.
  14. Apologies for any offence caused... none was actually intended - am simply open to discussion on this. I'm really torn on this issue, and would love some definitive news on the subject. Are SWFC willing to give refunds to those who apply for them. Could a local journalist (Star or Radio Sheffield perhaps) actually get some info for us. What really troubles me re: SWFC is the continuing lack of info coming out of Hillsborough. Personally I'm in a dilemma on this. My head says that we are on the verge of a potentially disastrous season due to DC being skint, and that a refund should be available to those who feel the need for one. My heart is telling me to continue to rock up and watch our team as I've done almost religiously for many, many years.
  15. Why you want refund? Are you bad customer? Seriously, have you really given up on wanting to watch the TEAM next season? I know we're in the deep, deep doo-dah but the TEAM still needs to be supported. Thick-and-thin springs to my mind. Also these refunds - if they are genuine - will only deplete club funds more seriously. Less money for wages, less money for ground work, less money for anything. Not sure that refund requests are really the right strategy for genuine fans.
  16. Hey Watto Nationwide are saying that your dispute has been resolved by the supplier - whoever that may be - and not that they have repaid you. Given that I do not believe that you’ve had any form of refund for a SWFC season ticket for next season are you actually able to provide any evidence to back up what you are saying please. Thank you.
  17. What I really know for certain is that the moronic imbecile known as Chansiri needs to sell our club and Phuket off back to Thailand.
  18. First of all you'd have to approach the club for a refund even though such a request is very likely to be rejected... A] Due to T & C's mentioned earlier, and B] Because SWFC is skint. Secondly, you'd need to pursue a County Court action against SWFC. This is probably untested but could be done on the basis of a legal doctrine called Custom & Practice. For example a ticket was bought on the assumed basis that the squad would be improved for next season - as is customary - by the signing of new players either permanently or on loan. A points deduction would also be helpful on this issue if it were to happen. You could then also argue that it was customary that SWFC were due to start the new season on 0 points, and that we had intended to watch a 'fair' sporting competition which is a concept that's been totally ruined by the moron that we know, and don't love, as DC. I do know someone that emailed Alistair Wilson on the subjects of Season Ticket refunds. As anticipated he has not had the courage to respond, or to comment to the enquiry. Hope this helps.
