I agree . I think it is total misinformation. I also think the main ITKer on here is close to Chansiri. He’s trying to cling on and has no intention of selling and is trying anything. I don’t think he realises how despised he is by the fanbase. I think he believes it’s just a small minority. In reality he is the most hated man in the 158 year history of the club by some distance.

People have free will and can do what they want. And let’s not forget we don’t know what is going on in people’s lives. I want Chansiri gone and I am not putting money in his pocket but that is my choice. One of the problems in society these days is a narrative is set and if you don’t adhere to it you get called names. One of the things I miss about the 90s is how people disagreed with each other and it wasn’t a problem. I don’t understand why you would continue to support the regime but it is a small minority and it is their choice.

Thank you very much for your kind words. It’s early days yet so I don’t have much feedback and you never know if people will like it. The only good thing for me about all this nonsense going on is the timing for the book. I started writing it 15 months ago. I mean who knew how things were going to turn out? It is the perfect escape! The book is a celebration of being a Wednesday fan and a reminder of how massive we are. Keep the faith. We will be back!!

That’s what I am saying. The situation arose at a time when we were short on strikers and he needed game time. It was the worst possible outcome for both parties. Being a big David Hirst fan I would have loved to have seen him develop with us. Instead we missed out on a youth prospect and he stagnated first with us then in Belgium. It was a waste.

The worst thing about the Hirst situation is that he left at a time when he would have started playing regular for us. It would have benefited both parties and not stalled his career. Good luck to him but just another example of the Chansiri era.

If I remember right it used to be a team from the top flight against a team from the league below. I remember Leeds losing to Charlton with Peter Shirtliffe scoring for Charlton. So getting a relegation team involved would be better than adding more spaces. How this - the team that loses the playoff final gets to play Leeds in a playoff game - regardless of where Leeds are in the league. This continues every season until Leeds get relegated.
