Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
NoFinChansiri replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I wonder if they’ll still announce the attendance as 20k+. -

Club Statement - Chansiri Speaks
NoFinChansiri replied to Pete Zarhutt's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
“It's gonna take £100m to drag me away from you There's nothin' that the Trust or Owlstalk could ever do I’ve got some gold down in Africa” -
That isn’t him listening, it’s finding out what he needs to do to get some fans to break the boycott. I expect that season ticket renewals will be priced in that way too. There isn’t a silver bullet that will definitely get rid of him though. If there was it would have been fired months ago.

Owls plight discussed at cabinet level !
NoFinChansiri replied to andypandy's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Chansiri is a perfect PR win for them. Everybody hates him, to the extent that even rival fans want him gone and it gets better, he’s a moron, you’re guaranteed to outsmart him. They couldn’t hand pick a better opponent. -
Not renewing isn’t necessary, just delay until August next year. You won’t miss any games, you won’t miss any points, but the absence of that cash will force him out. We’ve apparently just missed out on signings because we couldn’t prove that we could afford £500 per week. He will need next season’s revenue soon enough.

They’ve been very quick to distance themselves in the past. Maybe they’re very sensitive to negative publicity.

The boycott should include John West products. If their sales start being affected in Britain (and we saw how the Wrexham owners took an opportunity for good PR so it could spread) then they’ll tell their idiot relative to get out.

It’s going to be better for a lot of players careers to leave at the end of the season so they might turn down moves now.

Boycotts don't hurt Chansiri...

I heard it from some guys at Sheffield 2. -
Boycotts don't hurt Chansiri...
NoFinChansiri replied to Nannan's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I don’t think the boycotts at the moment are doing much, but the effect will be cumulative. The one that needs focus is season tickets. If he needs cash he might suddenly start offering season tickets and multi-year versions at discounted prices and the fan base needs to be ready to say no. -
Time for The Trust to back a TOTAL boycott

Regardless, let him go low and we go high. Keep showing the world who he really is. -
Time for The Trust to back a TOTAL boycott
NoFinChansiri replied to crookesowl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Rather than announce a boycott immediately, offer Chansiri a chance to provide an update on the progress of a takeover with the consequence of a lack of communication or a lack of progress met with action. -
They must have better vision than me.

We had a match against Rotherham suspended because a drone was nearby IIRC. Do not do this.

The point is that no one will need to give up anything. The Trust could ask people to pledge not to renew until next August, that’s it. It could then say that it will recommend to the new ownership that early bird prices are maintained for those that delayed their renewal. Only Chansiri loses out and if the Trust gets people to ‘sign up’ then it can give notice of the loss that Chansiri can expect.
-
One match won’t make much difference, the key is season ticket renewals. People don’t even need to be convinced to not renew, just delay. The club has become hooked on cash flow from the next season and cutting that off will be key to ending any chance Chansiri has of keeping the club. The Trust could even be asking fans to pledge to do this now - then they’d be able to announce how many early bird renewals he’s lost for next season.

Unexpected Consequences Of Chansiri

Surely a Trust-led boycott of John West products would be more effective and media friendly than blowing a bunch of whistles? -
Big opportunity for the Trust - BOYCOTT LEEDS
NoFinChansiri replied to alanharper's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
An empty stadium just doesn’t have the same effect. Sky got to cover fans waiting outside, then the moment that fans started arriving and the reaction of the home supporters. If there are just empty seats then there’s no message. It also was a huge advert for anyone interested in investing in or purchasing the club. -
To those who are going, try to keep anti-Chansiri chants clean. The Sky cameras are there and they will change the audio to generic crowd noise if there’s anything they deem inappropriate (and they are really sensitive).

Chansiri has done the impossible
NoFinChansiri replied to Mamalute's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I have never known anyone to so consistently make the wrong decision, yet be so arrogant that he has to be critical in every decision made.
