Have to worry about the potential long term impacts this could have on some of the youngsters entire careers. If the young lads still physically developing pick up injuries they obviously impact their development because they're out injured rather than training and playing. But if they get recurring injuries or do long term damage it could genuinely be the difference between an OK career in league 2 against perhaps a championship level player.... 10-15 years career at a completely different level (and being compensated very differently).... Bruno Fernandes Pierce Charles Gui Siquera Ernie Weaver All hot prospects picking up serious injuries already....

Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
patolookalike replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I dont think anyone expects any 'new' season tickets to be bought. And the evidence of very low potg supports this. I think people only expect potential veteran ST holders to renew (assuming by your post, that you are one). So. Veterans seats won't get snapped up? Another veteran "had this seat for years" will only renew to their seat. No one new is going to get a season ticket. There's no vultures circling to try and snaffle people's seats. I think the club and new owners would try to support the veteran ST holders. I also think if say a change of ownership happened and some 'new STer' was faster to buy a ticket and picked your seat that people would be understanding and if you bought one for the row behind/a few seats along/whatever the person 'in your seat' may well be willing to swap? Maybe they'd go on to sit behind you and your friends and family for years to come, maybe they'd become a friend.... -

Trust statement doesn't mention away games? Haven't seen criticism in this thread either? Lets keep 1 thread free from divided fans for once -
Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough
patolookalike replied to TZOwl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
In terms of hopefully what it will achieve. Chansiri sees an empty stadium because fans have come together to boycott. Chansiri knows the same call to boycott also called for non renewal of Season Tickets. Chansiri therefore sees what the future could hold - a future without say £6million of funding from fans buying season tickets.... Hopefully helping him understand that time really has run out and he cannot keep going. -
Trust Call For Full Boycott Against Middlesbrough

I hope those who live in Sheffield and are able to spare an hour or 2 message the trust to volunteer to stick some posters up. Definitely think posters and not relying just on social media is a great idea. -
Pitch Invasion - how many!?
patolookalike replied to Kevowls1's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Huh? Think the 'count' was 52 people on the pitch. So less than 0.5% of the Wednesday attendance went on the pitch. (Not a judgement either way, just the numbers and maths) But you say more would have gone on if there was big announcements telling people to get off? Like some reverse psychology, or? -
Pitch Invasion - how many!?

I still find myself shocked at the amount of fans more concerned about themselves, their ego, point scoring against other fans and / or 'being right' than they are about Sheffield Wednesday.... Come on. -
Pitch Invasion - how many!?
patolookalike replied to Kevowls1's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
It also wont happen. Which is fine. We'll never get 100% boycott. We'll never get 100% protest. We'll never all give a player the exact same match rating out of 10. It isnt how the world works. But honestly applauding and supporting fellow fans for whatever effort they did make: -boycott -protest -sing -get on pitch -tag Thai union group on social media -whatever Is there way forward. Too many people spending too much time dragging down other Wednesday fans or pointing out what they perceive as the flaws or negatives or what could have been, rather than focusing on the positives and celebrating what has been achieved. -
Yeah fair point, well made

Baffling. Thanks mate

Pitch Invasion - how many!?
patolookalike replied to Kevowls1's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Mate take a breather. You've gone in on people thanking/being grateful/appreciative of those who went on the pitch. Saying those that did are all going to get banned. Now you're defence to people calling you out is asking them if they went on the pitch?? -
What was the reaction like to the fans on the pitch at 10 mins from where you were?

Pitch Invasion - how many!?

He isnt here to do it himself. Hopefully anyone he asks to chase it up on his behalf arent too motivated to do so (if I wasn't being paid I'd lack motivation). He also has much bigger issues to be attending to if hes going to put time and effort into anything swfc I hope it isnt trying to go after fans for protesting. Fingers crossed on lottery and world peace too -

Pitch Invasion - how many!?
patolookalike replied to Kevowls1's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Just watched some YouTube footage from coventry fans. One bloke kept saying we stormed the pitch because we were 1-0 down and that got a fair bit of traction/likes/comments. Ridiculous. But that bit aside that will soon get squashed... Absolutely fair play to each and every person willing to go on the pitch despite potential individual risks to them. Truly doing what they felt was best for Wednesday. Can't wait to hear and see the ramifications and coverage. Be interested to hear what bannan said to those on pitch. Wonder if we'll get a club statement or EFL statement. All turning the screw It will get more and more coverage and discussion. Bravo. -
Owls V Coventry next. How do we handle them?
patolookalike replied to 1952Owl's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Want to root for us. Only seen the results from midweek not seen any highlights even. So maybe let's say scrape a 1-0. Coventry off day / underestimate us. And a cheeky Barry bannan finish -
Pitch Invasion - how many!?
patolookalike replied to Kevowls1's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I feel like every time going on the pitch is discussed its: - 75% of people hoping other people will go on the pitch to disrupt (but they themselves wouldn't) - 20% of people explaining why people don't want to go on the pitch [criminal record etc] (who again themselves wouldn't) - 5% of people who might but dont go to matches because they're boycotting (and they know that 95% of people wouldn't join them on the pitch) -
Pitch Invasion - how many!?

It's a nervy thing isnt it. Can't say I expected different on here. I dont do x but im sure there was a twitter set up as 'owls on the pitch' or something so I'd expect/assume/hope those who are planning something are talking to eachother (on there or facebook or in a whatsapp group, whatever) to plan the timing/entry point etc so that if it happens, it is a co-ordinated effort, not 1 or 2 isolated people who get grief -
Talksport/The Sun - 15 Point penalty
patolookalike replied to The General's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
I get it. And like I said. It's just the rules. We're not playing by them (because of Chansiri). Yes it's the wider club (fans, players) who are further punished by us being docked points, yes Chansiri likely doesnt care. But if the shoe was on the other foot and we'd been paying people and come the end of the season we ended up in 22nd and relegated while a team that finished in 20th that hadn't paid their players for half the season above us by 3 points i think we'd be calling that out as "unfair" too....? -
Talksport/The Sun - 15 Point penalty
patolookalike replied to The General's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
They're stupid in our situation yes. But its the punishment they have and wrote into their rules which is what all the clubs agreed to. Basically someone cant play in a competition without paying their players/team/staff for working and achieving what they do in that competition. It's unfair. Therefore there has to be a punishment. The punishment is dock points so you're guaranteed to 'lose' in that competition, and finish below the other teams who are actually paying their players and staff to play against you every week. I dont understand why people have an issue? We're not playing by the rules. We can't be allowed to 'get away with it'- 190 replies

Another indication of the problems at the club

Birmingham - All away tickets now sold out
patolookalike replied to @owlstalk's topic in Sheffield Wednesday Matchday
Because the fight is against other fans.... Not against chansiri (Not you specifically could have pointed out any number of posts in this thread) As usual fans spending so much time and energy fighting eachother, the same time and energy that they could have spent being directed into supporting boycott, protest, swfctrust, social media attention, etc
