  1. The link to the Star article not working.
  2. Prospective next Sheffield Wednesday owner holds new stadium talks - future away from Hillsborough considered
  3. That's a definite no; it's already being built on by the university. It's part of the Advanced Manufacturing facility.
  4. How many times has it flooded in the last 50 years?
  5. You will get more action on muck Hub than watching that shower of poo .
  6. We would be different; you need to look at the wider picture. The economy as a whole in Sheffield is dire, and miles and miles behind cities like Manchester and Leeds. I believe that Sheffield has more people earning the minimum wage than any other large city in the country. Add to that the number of working age people who are inactive in this city, it's no wonder vast numbers of people in Sheffield just don't have the money to spend on things like football.
  7. Don't think it's anything to do with the administrators. Their sole job is to temporary run the club until it is sold and bring in as much money as possible, to run the club on a day-to-day basis.
  8. Sorry video not showing just watch on Youtube, full match v Arsenal.
  9. If we go down, it will be interesting to see the average attendance next year compared to the last time we were in league 1. Comparing the 2 will be a good barometer as to how many fans we have or haven't lost. There could be a number of local derby's next year in league 1 which should keep the crowds up, hopefully.
  10. What about Castlegate were the old markets used to be? Plenty of land there and right in the city centre.
  11. Why would we need a 50k stadium? Even if we were in the Prem League i would doubt, we would be able to fill it a couple of times a season. Upgrade the ground and demolish the Leppings Lane stand and bring the capacity up to 40k.
  12. Has any club ever challenged points deductions, through the courts?
  13. Each of the ITV regions in the 1970s did their own football programme on Sundays. Kieth Macklin Martin Tyler and John Helm were the commentators through the years at Yorkshire Television. Football on ITV were shown on Sunday afternoons as the BBC had Match Of The Day on Saturday nights. The main commentator at ITV was Brian Moor who did Cup Finals and international matches involving England.
  14. Judging by the other Directors Box comments on Owls Talk, somebody will swear blind that Jesus Christ is sitting in the back row.
  15. Don't think the EFL will allow early bird tickets to be sold, under the current circumstances.
  16. How would that work then? What about the clubs we have already played, would those results be binned?
  17. The media have moved on though; they are not interested in our away support. Empty away stands would get the media's attention again, and garnish publicity.
  18. Spurs 17.000 for a local derby.
  19. Even if Hillsborough was a top-notch venue, would the council even allow concerts there? I am sure the local residents would kick up a storm.
  20. Not all busy boycotting, there's plenty of people there, grassing up other people, who are also there.
  21. You are basically rigging the league if any club gets points deducted, by the amount being mooted here.
  22. You go first and the rest will follow, you hope.
  23. They could take their business elsewhere and never come back, attacking them is not a good idea.
  24. That kop though.
