Just when I thought I was cried out after S6 yesterday and the city hall last night, I watched this. The clip of the north stand entrance is where I first went to Hillsboro in 1976 with my grandad and dad. Grandad has passed and Dad has Alzheimer’s now, but I showed him this today, and he smiled and gripped my hand that bit tighter. Thank you for a lovely poignant moment- SWFC is us and is our legacy to my son and hopefully one day my grandkids

What a 24 hours, what a summer. We all will wear the mental and emotional scars for years to come, but thankfully the era of chansiri is at an end. Just want to say a heartfelt thankyou to Rob, Alex, Joe and Alan for your professionalism during this time, can’t have been easy reporting on peoples personal struggles. Your compassionate words I’m sure helped many through these dark times.

Just been to see my elderly dad in his nursing home and sat and read him this article Alex. I couldn’t finish reading it as I was unashamedly in tears. Not much raises a spark with dad now sadly, but he looked up and quietly said “it’ll be alreyt son, coz being a Wednesdayite is about what’s in here” as he touched his chest. Thankyou Alex, I thought those connections with dad were long gone.

First time poster on here, but next year sees my 50th year on the swfc rollercoaster. Probably premature with this, but as we near the end game of the takeover, I feel as a fan group we should reflect on the impact this summer has had on the honest hardworking people at S6. While billionaires sign off on takeover deals we should never forget, that for their efforts we wouldn’t have a club to takeover. We move forward ‘together as one’ with courage and wisdom.
