In 1974 at this stage we had the equivalent of 5 points. That season turned out worse than anyone could have expected but I was 11 then and anything seemed possible. I turned up every fortnight with enthusiasm still expecting something from a game. The older and wiser me is now despairing. I have a ST but have missed 4 games so far including the cup games and I don’t care. Without a new Röhl this is going to be grim.

Because they count ST holders. I’ve only been to one game this season but attendance figures say I’ve been to 3.

Orlando Trustful was very talented and he should have been a first team regular.

I could understand it sort of if we were playing Man Utd or Arsenal or someone we haven't played for a while. It's a run of the mill cup tie against a team we've played loads of times recently who don't give a flying fart about us as "rivals".

If we can match 1974/75 - my first regular season - it will be a miracle.
