  1. The Carling only fast pour section of the middle bar on the top of the North can run really well at times but the sign saying Carling only has gone so people queue up there asking for all sorts and then delay the queue discussing the fact that they want a pie with the frustrated barman who says he’s only serving Carling. whilst I’m sure the whole process could be streamlined, the staff are up against it with some fans not deciding what they want until they get to the front and then almost being surprised that they have to pay. It’s inexcusable not to have your card or phone out ready to pay but most just stare into space until they get to the front then spend 30 seconds wasting everyone’s time making their mind up and asking daft questions . It shouldn’t be needed but a loud member of staff barking instructions and doing a bit of organising out front might see people being better prepared and a more efficient process. if they’re going to pre- pour then half pouring seems to work with the pints then being topped up. Some communication about this on the website would go a long way to people hopefully going a long with it. I must say that in general I think the bar staff do a good job under very difficult circumstances. A lot of our fans heads would explode if they were faced with the same situation working with slow pour pumps, even slower tills and such a short space of time to serve thousands of people.
  2. I’m sure this has been answered somewhere before so apologies but can anyone confirm whether SWFC have been paid in full for the stadium? I seem to recall it was being paid in instalments - if they’ve not all been paid does anyone have a good idea as to how that might play out? obviously irrelevant if the club have received all it is due from the sale
  3. To be fair to the monk, he did suggest we switch the dugouts round and that saw us finish in the play offs both years, since we’ve switched back it’s all gone to pot
  4. Can anybody answer me two questions: 1) should Wednesday be wound up or enter admin in the near future - could the receiver investigate deals such as this that could be considered to be a transaction at an undervalue? Would be interested if anyone had any practice knowledge 2) what mechanisms are in place to prevent owners agreeing a sale at an undervalue but subsequently receiving a payment direct (I.e not through the clubs books) from the purchasing team or a connected party. I’m not suggesting this has happened here - just wondered if it would be possible?

  6. id imagine ex seahawks QB BJ Daniels and some other NfL players are involved. BJ posted some stuff about swfc on twitter when we got to Wembley - and there’s reference to trigger hub on his twitter. His twitter also suggests he’s currently based in Florida
  7. They’ve also racked up nearly £500k in fines from the FA for poor behaviour - a point which has had literal radio silence from Radio Sheffield - even this week they received another fine of £180k and a scathing judgement about consistently failing to control their players - yet nothing in the local press. Would have had a 2 hour Football Heaven special if that was us
  8. So you’re saying @Toadie would be embargoed from saying there’s a press conference until midday tomorrow even if he had been invited…
  9. Completely agree - these South American links have been around as far back as 2022 and always come to light when Josh has 6 months left on his contract or in the middle of negotiations. If Josh is on a one year deal this could be his agents ploy to increase whatever offer is either on the table (or yet to be tabled) by the club. Do you think TalkSPORT just randomly called Josh this morning for a chat - feels like his agent has gone back to his favourite page of the play book as it has worked so well the last two times with the subsequent meltdown on social media. He could be on his way - so be it if he is. Either way if he’s not happy on 1 Feb we will probably be seeing him back in the physios room before the end of the season.
