  1. Fair play to those who went today. Great support. I appreciate this is down to circumstances of the ******** of an ex owner but there genuinely isn’t a single player on that pitch I’d be bothered about being at the club next season. The whole lot can go for me and I include Bannan in that.
  2. This commentary is dreadful. It’s either offside or it’s not. He was offside and it was correctly ruled out, doesn’t matter a jot if it was marginal.
  3. Huge game for us tomorrow. Celtic had 2 shots on target and that winner in the 95th minute was one of them. Both Glasgow teams played really badly today but still got the wins.
  4. He has his keeper and a known Rangers supporting VAR official to thank for that today. Livi should have won that game and have been robbed of a stonewall penalty and a clear foul for Rangers winner. Beaton is a cheat pure and simple and should not be officiating Rangers games in any capacity. Watch the highlights on sportscene and you’ll see. Livi’s social media rightly calling them out on Twitter
  5. It’s not a great side by Italian standards but having watched Wales recently a few days ago against Liechtenstein, and NI against Luxembourg, I’m still very confident the Italians will go through.
  6. Roooooond ye
  7. Can’t say we’re not entertaining. What a game and what an achievement
  8. No Scotland no party
  9. That penalty for Northern Ireland is absolutely ridiculous
  10. Group remarkably still there to be won with the result in Copenhagen
  11. Shankland buries that. I cannot stand Che Adams. Absolutely hopeless. He has missed two sitters
  12. We’ve been poo for the last few games. Got results but the performances have been terrible. This has been coming
  13. Agreed. Röhl has done well (domestically) to get a few results but the lack of quality and particularly in forward areas will tell over the piece. January is going to be a key window for Rangers, big changes are needed, and January is never a good window to be making big changes and that realistically is what is needed. There is huge surgery needed to that squad, and like you say I don’t think you’ve made improvements in any position with the recruitment over the summer. With Thelwell looking like he is going to be in charge of any recruitment too that must be depressing as a Rangers fan. Not impossible but highly unlikely I would say. There’s a reason the bookies have them the price they are
  14. He probably has to win a trophy to count as some element of ‘success’ and they’ve only got one shot now with the Scottish Cup after losing in the League Cup yesterday. It’s going to be a tough season for Danny with the level of expectations. They need to be looking long term and trying to improve the squad in increments with each window. It’s going to take time. Shifting out Martin’s duds and replacing them with better quality won’t be instant. They probably won’t see 3rd as a success for this season but at the moment that’s looking a likely scenario. Just as an FYI and I’m sure you’re not overlooking it, I agree Hearts have a strong spine and a good system, but there’s a lot of quality and pace in there too. You don’t score the same amount of goals as both Rangers and Celtic combined, and have a +19 goal difference at this stage of the season by accident. I’m obviously loving it and maybe shouting about it too much, but we have been by far the best team in the league so far and there is good quality in that side too. The recruitment via Bloom’s Jamestown Analytics has been a game changer.
  15. Weird wasn’t it? Can’t blame Danny for this today either. He actually made a game out of it by changing his system and getting them back into it. The squad he has inherited is absolutely terrible. It’s unbalanced, lacking in quality, the recruitment from Rangers has been atrocious despite spending tens of millions. I think Danny deserved credit for getting a tune out of them today for a period. Tavernier for all the stick he gets put everything into that game today too. Rangers have recruited really badly, that’s the bottom line, and it’s arguable that none of the players they have signed in the summer were an upgrade on who they have replaced. Thelwell is the man to blame and Martin too for the terrible recruitment. Raskin is a quality player, Butland a decent keeper, the rest are bang average or not much better.
  16. Celtic fans signing Danny Röhl song
  17. Game over. Rangers ran out of gas
  18. Rangers probably deserve an equaliser based on the second half performance, they’ve kept themselves in the game well, but that is never a penalty in a million years. Shocking officiating
  19. That’s never a penalty
  20. Not enough to overturn that red for VAR. Not deliberate but that’s Rangers in big trouble now
  21. That one not getting ruled out. Rangers are pish
